Story:
Diego was born in Japan, only to be transferred to America as a young child by Genetech. Growing up, Diego didn't intend to become a private investigator. However, spliced with a Mystic Lavara, descended from a precognizant Terizien, Diego acquired the uncanny ability to see the future... or the present... or the past... or things that will never happen... or things that don't make any sense at all. After working several minimum wage jobs as a young adult, he settled on opening his own psychic "business"- that he operated out of his apartment. It was mostly fake, with tarot cards and palm readings, but the scams and his ability to read people did turn out profitable, and he managed to set up a real office. Around the age of 23, his visions grew darker, flashing glimpses of murders, and he began working as a consultant for various police departments. At the age of 31, when working on a case, he encountered Agent Karim, and after solving the murder, Matteo insisted on hiring him and keeping him around.
