Boofie (Specie)

Boofies are a peaceful race of alien from the planet Glinox. A boofy has two arms with rounded paw-like hands. They have four digits on each hand, with one being a thumb. They have four legs that sit squarely underneath of their bent legs, and each foot has three paw-like digits.

Boofies have two horns, two eyes, and two mouths. they have a trunk which can split into one of the mouths, and a mouth on, what appears to be, their forehead, as well. Boofies can rotate their heads, but generally keep their trunk rotated at the bottom part of the head. The teeth in both mouths are sharp, despite the unimposing nature most Boofies have. Their horns are generally stubby, but they can grow out longer or curve more.The pupils of a Boofy look like filled in 8's.

Boofies come in boring colors of yellows, oranges, and browns. The eyes are a neon lime green color, but the shade can vary. Horns are typically a dark color, but white horns and lighter colored horns are possible too. Boofies can wear most styles of garb, so long as the leg garments are made to accommodate four legs. 

Boofies can have freckles, skin marks, and other distinguishing features. Hair and facial hair are also possible.

Boofie naming conventions so far aren't really concrete. Odyssey and Iliad are both named after epics, so you can draw from similarly famous literary works as well, like folklore. Mops and Pops are probably only called that in relation to Apex, but I haven't done much thinking on their real names. Gilga and Beo sounds good actually, so I might consider those. That said, a Boofie doesn't need to be named after an epic, it could also be a protagonist. Things along the lines of Dante, Paul Bunyan, Tang Sanzang, or Ishmael are all acceptable. This is probably one of my more loose naming conventions, and  it doesn't need followed at all, but it's something fun to mess with.
