i resisted uploading him for so long but fine. fine. he's too amusing.
⚾︎ willie dustice strikes most as just a guy who is a bit weird. secretly, though, he has the ability to create, manipulate, and put anyone he wants into pockets of altered reality entirely within his control. this power is really OP in the wrong hands, but all willie is interested in is occasionally forcing his favorite heroes and villains to do themed gimmick episodes. he does not use it for anything else except infinite ideal vacations for himself.
⚾︎ he's like an easter-egg self insert joke character, representing me and my desire to make the guys play softball in fun uniforms, go to the beach together, etc., and my frequently-abused ability to make them do just that.
⚾︎ he doesn't normally name his reality pockets, but calls the one he makes them play softball in "The Strike Zone", which he thinks is very clever.
⚾︎ his appearance is based off me at my worst. unkempt beard, in dire need of a haircut. it's embarrassing. now everyone else is making self-inserts that are genuine and i am beginning to regret making mine intentionally rancid.
⚾︎ he only wears sporty shirts (raglans, jersey cuts, ringers etc) and hats (baseball or snapback) with incomprehensible slogans. he usually has earrings but they tend to be on the simpler side. often paints nails but usually just black rather than colors
⚾︎ he's kind of like chris maclean + benrey hlvrai, for lack of a better way of summing him up
⚾︎ he has a "villain" name i'll think of eventually, because although he is not a villain he does get into the power trip and the eeeevil fantasy
⚾︎ it's been suggested that willie is short for wilhelm. funny enough i might canonize it
⚾︎ oh, and he doesn't care about softball/baseball/sports at all.
⚾︎ his boyfriend does nonfiction superhero comics for a living, using their power of partial, imperfect omniscience to publish stories no one else would have had the inside scoop on. Willie invites them to his weird little events, but they're usually too swamped with deadlines to tag along.
