flossy
Flossy is excitable, optimistic and carefree. She likes to look on the bright side of things and is a great person to help someone through rough patches in their life. She's a great listener (quite literally) and is understanding of people's feelings. Empathetic, to put it short.
Despite this, she can tend to be quite ignorant. It'll take a few repeats for her to understand a task or something and she doesn't like to have lots of things to do at once. She lives in the present and thinking about the future worries her. Because of this she does things without thinking of the consequences, usually because she thinks they'll be fun. They don't read often in her universe, but she has dyslexia all the same.
Her best friend is Tandor, who she loves dearly - if Tandor is winter, Flossy is summer. She helps him through his anxieties a lot and loves spending time with him.
History
Born in a sickly litter, she was the only one who survived. She was too young to remember it, but her mother was killed while foraging and she was left alone. A colony of faeries found her and took pity, and took her home to nurse her until she was strong enough to fend for herself. But their plan went askew as they grew attached to her and she became part of their family. They all love her dearly and protect her fiercely.
One day while she was foraging, Flossy was attacked by her future best friend Tandor while he was hunting. She barely escaped and was only saved by the faeries attacking him and throwing him in the hollow of a tree and barring him up, as it was against their ethics to kill. Tandor hated Flossy, and she (less strongly) reciprocated the feeling. Though, she grew less resentful and felt sorry for the poor imp, who was just trying to survive. She fed him through the bars and promised she'd be able to let him out soon, as long as he didn't try to kill her again. Over time he grew less hateful and Flossy talked to him more and more until she was allowed by the (disapproving) faeries to let him out. He decided to stay and they grew closer and closer.
