Shiva

History: Shiva was brought into existence at the Beginning as Energy and Power. Back then, she was little more than a consciousness, relatively unaware of the things going on around her. As the universe grew in size, her consciousness grew as well, allowing her to react to outer stimuli. Over the course of four billion years, Shiva grew a physical form; a colossal, black, serpent-like creature with eight tendrils poking from its sides. She, along with Kyne and Linus (The Titans of Magic and Life, respectively), swam in the soup of space for seventeen billion years or so, observing all the planets that they came across. Shiva was unable to telepath, so Kyne and Linus regarded her as nothing but a mindless entity.

Stars and civilizations had come and gone by the time that the three titans had come across the planet "Excultus". After deciding that they would examine the advanced life on the planet, they designed the Nexxus and shrunk down, hoping to use the Nexxus as a platform for their studies. They had no knowledge of gravity, though, and they were soon separated as they fell through the air. Shiva awoke in a humanoid form (her body reacted to the energy emitting from the apex species of the planet and transformed accordingly) and ended up traveling the surface of the world for twenty years, learning who and what she was. She also learned to mimic human emotions to greater benefit her when it came to interacting with the locals.

She arrived on the Nexxus after those twenty years, and took her place beside Kyne and Linus as a "Creator". After thousands of years, the three of them had finally figured out a formula required to recycle willing human souls to become Nexxians; those who assist the Creators in managing the universe.

Present Day: Shiva is adjusting to life after her daughter makes a break for it and leaves the Nexxus "for good". Surprisingly, instead of snapping back to her long-term goal of destroying the Nexxus and resetting the universe, Shiva resumes her duties as a Creator, much to the apprehension of the Nexxians and the Nexxian Council. While uncertainty brews amongst the Nexxians, the annual Summit looms on the horizon: Delegates and ambassadors from all over the galaxy meet in Nexxian territory to discuss matters of trade, alliances, and access to Nexxian resources and space. Shiva's not exactly looking forward to months of grueling back-and-forth, and neither is Elise -a brand spankin' new "ambassador" to a collection of backwater planets- who is surprisingly invited as well.

Personality: Shiva is unable to experience emotions, but has had thousands of years to practice emotional mimicry. When she isn't around regular people, she is cold, calculating, and to-the-point. After an event during her history, she had gained a tiny capacity for emotional variance, which she mistakes for better mimicry on her part. This has proven to be a bad thing, as a bitterness has taken root inside of her, replacing the calm, "friendly" demeanor she once had. Her newly-developed "hatred" for chaos is the contributing factor for her desire to extinguish all organic life and reset the universe, which is, to her, the best way to preserve a future for the universe itself.

Appearance: Shiva is 10' 4" and 831 lbs. Her eyes are teal-coloured (with cat-like pupils) and they faintly glow, which is visible in low-light settings. Her nose is broad and triangular. She has short light grey hair that spikes up behind her head. Sharp teeth adorn her mouth while two tendrils poke out from her lower shoulder blades. Her ears extend towards the back of her head, but their helixes are heavily scarred. There is a medical brace supporting her left ear's outer helix, while she has two earrings for both lobes (purely decorative). The back of her neck is pitch black, with raised ridges exposing a faint teal light from within her body. Her chest is similar; a teal, cut-like shape tearing down the middle of her torso. Her clothing varies depending on her sensitivity. Most of the time, she wears form-fitting outfits, with an emphasis on completely covering her chest and neck. She prefers darker colours. She is very physically fit.

Sex, Sexuality, and Gender Identity: Long answer: For a force of nature, she has little regard for how people label her, and has no use for reproductive organs. Short answer: Sexless, and sex-less. Her typical pronouns are she/her, as demonstrated.

Scars: Although I don't draw Shiva with scars, her face and hands are covered in them. It takes energy to return a titan's body to its original state, and Shiva is very conservative regarding energy she doesn't have to use. Shiva also sees the scars as a reminder of her failures.
