Camryn is quick to rise to challenges, quick to jump first and ask questions later, and is the type to see adventure as a great story to tell rather  than consider it dangerous. She's reckless, but smart, and isn't silly  enough to jump into a situation without some sort of evaluation. She's adaptable, resourceful, and easily awed by the world around her. Despite having her demons in the form of her parents and her struggles with her identity; she is quite the optimist and believes that looking on the  best side of things makes good things happen. In her trips out of her village she's learned a lot about her world outside, and slowly learned  how to survive against all sorts of threats. Between her own observation and practice, and picking up information from traders, she's  successfully become a skilled explorer. Though she doesn't have any  formal training in things like swordplay or fighting techniques- she  doesn't need it, and her usual go-to is her trusty bone hook. She is  brave, and there really isn't much that scares her other than the  thought of people getting hurt because of her; and a case of  claustrophobia. She can usually cope with it, but it does occasionally become problematic.

She is good humored and likes to tease and poke fun at people. She can take a joke, and if not kept properly busy  or otherwise occupied she can get pretty mischievous towards those  around her. She definitely doesn't cope with boredom in the best ways, and is definitely not the most patient person ever. She's pretty laid back, and generally won't get easily offended. She can get riled up if  you challenge her in some way, but that rarely has anything to do with  offense or legitimate anger. Because of her ability to quickly assess and adapt to situations, and due to the fact she knows how liable things  are to change at any time, she doesn't usually make long-term plans and  sometimes has issues committing to things. She prefers a mentality of winging it and seeing where she ends up. 

She's overall pretty fun to be around, and pretty reliable. Despite her laissez faire, go-with-the-flow way of going about life most of the time, she'll always  have your back and if you're loyal and friendly to her, you can expect the same in return. She's good people, she just tends to get frustrated with being trapped and her own limitations, and feels the constant need to push beyond them and the boundaries in front of her. She doesn't like to feel confined, and if given rules she'll be liable to fight back just to feel like she's still able to follow that voice in her head. Though telling what to do is probably not the way to get through to her,  if you ask her nicely she'll probably be more likely to obey the request.  

She tends to isolate herself because she feels misunderstood, and even the most curious of others from her village struggle to relate to her brazen desire to face the world. She can work  with others, and often feels lonely, but doesn't really know how to reach out, and sometimes being her friend does need to involve some work  since she tends to be independent. She feels like because she knows  next to nothing about her parents and her family, that she can't ever  really know herself, or why she feels so out of place. She wants someone  she can truly connect to, and she feels like understands her; and to  her the easiest solution to that is to find her family. Even if her parents are gone, some surely must be out there somewhere?

Camryn lives on the planet Lloria XS09, an alien human to this world after the crash of the Reverie space station on the planet's surface thousands of years ago. Her ancestors adapted to survive, and she's never known anywhere else; her people's origins on the planet are long forgotten, and it's just assumed they are where they've always been. Earth is no longer in living memory.

Camryn lost her parents at an early age to a scavenging mission gone wrong and has since sought the truth of what happened to them, for her own  closure and because with their departure she was left alone other than her childhood friend, Lucia. The goal of finding her parent's fate helped her cope, and helped her find purpose as an outsider. She struggled from a young age to fit in with others of her village, primarily due to her terrible wanderlust and strong drive to seek adventure and challenge in an unsafe world. Most consider her negligent, if not dangerous, making it hard for her to relate to them. She seeks a great unknown and a guidance she's missing in her life to find herself. She struggles to accept herself for who she is and keeps looking for  someone to tell her it's okay to want to search for the answers others fear.

Camryn's parents were village scavengers, who raised her as a small child on stories of grand adventure and worlds beyond their own. They went on  missions outside of their village to bring back food and otherwise  important supplies, along with gathering important materials from the wreck of the Reverie. They presumably passed away when she was around seven, though their fates were left unknown (As they simply did not return from an expedition.) They were assumed eaten by the natural creatures of Lloria's ecosystem. She grew up after their demise in her family home, with only limited help from the other villagers; and she  was largely left to take care of and figure things out for herself. She  grew up with her childhood friend, Lucia, who was her only companion and confidant. As they got older, his duties as the son of the village's governor and Camryn's own restlessness drove them apart. She frequently left the village without permission to head out on her own explorations, seeking information as to the whereabouts of her parents, believing that their fate holds the key to her own. 

She tried for a long while to relate to the others of  her village, to try and do things by their rules and fill a role there,  but she never succeeded. She was too competitive, dreamed too far about  the world outside of it, and nothing ever seemed to suit her. She's a survivalist at heart, a researcher- she's good at observing the environment and using it to her advantage, and though she's not big or  intimidating- she's quick as a whip and her reflexes are admirable. She learns quickly, and pieces things together with ease. 

However, she struggles to listen or get along with others, social interactions  are not her strong suit. She tends to be rather reckless (Though, she usually manages to escape with either quick response or just dumb luck) and often gets herself and others into harm's way by mistake. She accepts herself as a lone wolf, which is why it becomes problematic in her and Lucia's relationship, as he's far more grounded, careful, and cautious- yet seeks to protect her from herself, frustrating her further. 

She's convinced there's some great secret out there waiting for her. Something her parents wanted, something her parents may have found. She's certain that this nagging feeling holds a part of  herself she's missing. Her greatest dream is just to prove they didn't die for nothing at all, and to prove to herself that the world might be scary but it holds great wonders for those not scared to take the leap.
