Jey Walker's Links
[Rivals] Jey is dedicated to catching the elusive trickster. However, he has no idea that Jackson is secretly the Master Thief! He sees Jackson a lot when at work, and thinks of him as a good kid... albeit a bit strange. The man's very flirtatious, which Jey finds odd considering their age gap.
[Rivals] Maybe it was his uncle looking out for him, but Jackson feels blessed to have SUCH a beauty for the detective handling his case. He loves flirting with the man, seeing his confused reactions is just precious. He won't accept defeat and go to jail, though... not until he wins that detective's heart!
Works under him. He's seen Cecil from the very moment he started to where he is now, and he was one of the few people to not believe the accusation of him bribing his way into the chief position. Cecil is a hard worker! Sure he's overly-strict, but he's a good guy deep down.
Cecil holds respect for Jey, knowing that he's a well-respected detective in the precinct. He was also one of the few people that never turned a cold shoulder to him or made fun of him for his youthful looks and short height. With all the chaos running around his precinct, let alone city, someone as nice as Jey is a breath of fresh air.
Call it Detective's Instinct, but he can't help but get a bad feeling about Detective Waltz. Even when they worked in the same area Jey kept his distance from him. Frederick was always cold and kept short conversations with people. There was always something in his eyes that reminded him of the apathetic stares of the killers they had caught. It was a heavily unwelcoming feeling.
Many people respect Jey, but not Frederick. The older detective showed promise, yet ran away with his tail between his legs at the sight of a few dead bodies. In Frederick's opinion, that's purely cowardice. If you can't handle the darkest of crimes, then don't get a job involving it.
Cameron is always entertaining to see when Jey's around. He's always energetic and does something fun! He reminds the detective of his ball of energy grandson. Still, he can't help but feel like something's off. Maybe it's because Cameron seems to have an easy time being around Detective Waltz...?
Detective Walker is such a nice man, always smiling and showing him pics of his grandchildren. Poor guy doesn't even suspect that Cameron was the one who tore his wife apart like that. The officer always finds it funny when the unaware detective talks to him.
Elliot's bakery, according to Jey, is one of the finest in town! He always comes here to get coffee, even before it was a bakery! He used to love taking his daughter here to buy her treats, and now he takes his grandchildren here.
One of the most familiar customers that Elliot could recognize since he had moved into the bakery and started working there. He usually has a cup of coffee reserved for the older gentleman even before he enters the bakery.
"I don't know half of what you said. Were you speaking another language? Ho ho! What an intelligent man! And you make fine watches, too!"
"Swiggity swooty comin' for that booty."
"Ho ho! You're too young for me, I'm afraid! Wouldn't you rather have some cookies instead?"
"This is my grandpa husband."
[Related] Jey loved his grandkids more than anything. They were his absolute pride and joys. Quite honestly, he had always hoped they WOULDN'T follow in their family's footsteps. The things Jey had seen as a detective were something he didn't want them to go through.
[Related] Gil admired his grandfather and wanted to be just like him. If only Jey could be around today. How would he handle everything? Far better than him, that's for sure...
[Related] Jey always found his granddaughter absolutely adorable. And adventurous! If he as much as looked away for a second he'd turn around and find her gone! She always came close to giving him heart attacks with her stunts. She would have had a great future, he was always sure of.
[Related] Ellie had always heard stories about her grandfather, but had very few memories of him. She was too young to be too effected by his disappearance, at least on the same magnitude as her brother. Sometimes, though, she wishes she could meet him. He was talked about in such high regards that he must have been a great man.
