Tethys is an annoying pest, and he loves stalking people and keeping tabs on everyone, even if it means putting himself in danger. Thankfully, he has his mentor, Phoenicis, to keep in check and out of danger. He often puffs himself up and attempts to take on much larger bettas, landing him a black eye and a few broken bones. It's actually surprising he's till kicking, seeing as he's one of the smallest, weakest bettas around.
He gravitated to Phoenicis after a particularly nasty fight, and begged the older betta to help him become cooler and stronger, in order to get more ladies. Phe begrudgingly took him under his wing and kept him out of trouble for a while. That was, until Teth found out about two other male bettas who were in a kind of forbidden, entirely unheard of relationship on the edge of the rice fields. The two of them proceeded to stalk the pair, trying to stay out of sight, as the bigger male, Atticus, was practically a giant in betta standards. Though, through watching the others, Tethys has a feeling his mentor has begun to rethink their relationship as well.
