Snappi

Starting off with the most important and defining trait of my sona - stretchy. This means that it is possible for them to extend body parts far FAR beyond where they could normally go. There does not seem to be a limit to how long they can be but it does start get hard keeping track of all of themselves when 100s of meters in length.

The parts they can willingly stretch on their own include chest, tail, arms, legs, and neck (however only the chest, tail, and arms are usually the ones being long the most). All other body parts are still stretchy, however they require external force, i.e. someone coming over and pulling my cheeks to be their arms width. These non-main parts are elastic and quickly snap back to shape after being let go.

As Snappi gets longer, tension pulling everything back starts to become stronger and stronger. Not only you need energy to maintain the current length, you also need exponentially more to stretch them further. Fortunately, the exponential growth ramps up slowly and a conventional truck can easily make Snappi a city wide spaghetti. Going further would require even stronger tools. In theory. if there were a device or a deity which would be able to exert unlimited force on Snappi, the lizard could go on forever.

Although this is just a subset of stretching (just in all directions), I think its best to mark it as a separate ability. Snappi is able to change their size from being as small as being able to bathe in a bowl of water to going so large he can sit down next to a small two story building and still be an entire head taller. It is entirely possible to go much further in both directions when nearby certain catalysts.

Snappi's hands posses magical properties to be able to temporarily give the dragon powers to someone else. This usually manifests in Snappi making people's tails longer or making a pretzel out of friends >:3

Unless constantly reapplied, after a few minutes, the ability effect subsides and affected people/objects slowly start reverting to normal proportions. The dragon's powers can also be stolen by booping their nose.

Snappi, being a water dragon, has some form of control over water. This control manifested in the ability to create very hard bubbles which can protect others in hazardous environments. Although the safety precautions are not required for Snappi, friends traveling on the back of this long lizard are very much glad this power exists when going to outer space or deep underwater. It can be also used to carry items around.

This power, unlike the stretchiness or  size-shifting, cannot be imposed on others as it is not unique to  Snappi, but to him being a water dragon.

So it turns out, being hollow on the inside is NOT a common thing. I was meeting up with Neptune, and, they had something bugging their mind. When I asked what was up, they asked me where do all the organs go when I stretch and or can I control them like my arms. I was confused about this question and then they were confused about what was so confusing. Then Neptune clarified with "you know, heart and stuff". TURNS OUT I AM SUPPOSED TO HAVE SOMETHING LIKE THAT?! There was a short panic, but ultimately I told them that they can rest assured I am very much fine, and I have been like this for as long as I can remember.

I have mostly been using myself to store some mundane items, like a phone, a wallet, a mallet, you know all the useful things for a toon. The items just stay there suspended where I leave them, so at least they don't get lost and I need to spend hours looking for where I left something.

Today I was EXCEPTIONALLY bored, and was wondering how much stuff I can carry. Turns out... QUITE A LOT. I went to a mountain today and just decided to put rocks, one by one see how much I can fit. I must have put way over 10 times my body size inside and it feels like it barely did a thing, feels like I can just keep going forever! Then I checked if I would have troubles moving, if at all. Turns out, everything that gets suspended turn weightless (maybe even massless?) and they really didn't give me difficulties to move around.

I feel very dumb for not trying this earlier, but I CAN SHRINK OBJECTS WITH MY HANDS!! So I was thinking, I can shrink something large, "eat" it, and then after it reverts to normal, it should stretch me from inside and I should become that object shaped! Its too fun not to try, so I tried it out this morning. I found an abandoned truck (don't worry I put it back where I found it after I was done), and stretched my arms all around it and squeezed it with my hands until it quickly shrunk to being nothing more than a model truck. I nommed it with one bite and waited in anticipation. Usually objects return to normal in 5 minutes or so, but after 30 minutes IT WAS STILL SMALL!! After an hour I got bored, took the truck out and put it back on the ground. As expected, it grew quite quickly... Now that I am writing this, I got an idea of want to try tomorrow >:3

Yesterday I crashed at Delta's place, it went about as you would expect with putting a long shapeshifter with a person they want to squeeze a lot in a tiny room. It was all good fun, and we enjoyed it, I helped clean up the mess of me going all over the place at the end (that place needed more Snappi anyway). In the morning Delta was showing pictures on his phone of people dressing up as other animals and said something like "I wanna wear a that suit", and I just instinctively say "I bet I could be that suit". No idea where that idea came from, but honestly not a bad idea!

I wedged around him arms for arms, legs for legs, tail for tail, the only tricky part was where to put my head! It would be kinda awkward for me to talk if his head was in my mouth, so I decided to become the hood instead! This came with the added benefit of being able to stretch my neck and move head around still. I am super excited to see what we can do with this!

November 11, 2021, page 308

It is now evening and oh my god this suit "form" is awesome. First of all I should say it was not me who wrote previous chapter, but I told my thoughts and he wrote them down. Turns out writing things with a suit on is quite hard, but you can get used to it. Secondly, I am the one writing this section, but still as a suit! I don't know why I didn't try this before, but yeah, both me and Delta can move the same body parts. Sometimes we had some issues understanding where we wanted to go but if at least one of us took like a "passenger seat", there are never issues.

One interesting note I must mention is that I am TECHNICALLY touching someone when they wear me, so I was wondering if I was able to transfer my stretchy powers to Delta, but before i could finish that thought it seems like my friend here had that idea a bit earlier and i saw my hands droop, my chest stretch up and bonk the head on the ceiling. Didn't expect to test if my resistance to concussions was applied too, but well good to know that it in fact does!

I actually don't! Well.. I do. It's complicated x3

I will explain cold temperatures first, as they should be quick to go over. The coldest place I've been to must have been outer space, in the shade of everything. Not entirely sure how cold it was, but I didn't really feel any different than being on the ground! When I made a bubble there it frosted a bit but I do not think its the type of "freezing" you were expecting.

As for hotter temperatures, its actually most of the same, except I can actually sense when things get "warm"? It's hard to explain, but I don't really have a sense of like "hot", "blazing hot", "scorching hot", it all kinda feels the same "warm"? For example, if I take something out of the oven I can feel like its warm, but that's about it. And in another instance, when I brought the literal sun over as a prank for Delta (sorry everyone, won't touch the sun again), it also felt just "warm", despite being WAY WAY hotter. But to answer the question, if a temperature of a star doesn't melt me, I don't know what would.

That being said I did freeze and melt in the past. For the freezing, i was just placed in a block of ice, where i was just stuck in (ironic, water dragon stuck in ice cube). For melting, uhh its complicated, and I think its best if I answer that separately x3

I don't really need to eat anything to stay alive, but I can't say I don't eat at all! I do like to eat with friends and I usually go for new tastes; can't consider myself a picky eater. I do have a sweet tooth though!

I actually have a funny story with regards to eating! I can't explain it, but when I eat certain fruits or berries I instinctively grow longer! I really cannot control or even notice it! Friends call me a snake when that happens, but I'm not a snake I'm a dragon ;w;

Okay now this is a really interesting question!

For those unfamiliar, ouroboros refers to the dragon eating their own tail, forever. Here really only two factors to discuss, what happens to something when I eat it and the limits to my stretchiness.

Me eating something is really comparable to just putting something in a bag. It just so happens that the bag is also very very large. I do not think there's a limit to how much I can store inside of me, so I think I would be able to devour my tail forever.

As for stretching, there actually is a limit.. sort of. On my own I can stretch a body part only about 100 meters or so, after that I need someone or something to pull me. The longer I am, the more effort it takes to stretch my limbs. So if there is some infinitely strong device which would constantly stretch me then yeah, I think can in fact ouroboros myself.

Not doing it though.
