YoRHa unit 30B is a recent, experimental model released within a control group aimed at improving upon the project's past shortcomings. Unit 30B specifically sports the long-retired "upbeat", or "bubbly" personality setting, once abandoned for it's propensity to cause other units to form strong psychological bonds that subsequently lead to greater distress and drops in morale upon a given unit's death. The newer 30B model has received slight coding tweaks to block a few of the problem features present in older models as well as add new ones that will, ideally, produce more favourable outcomes in the field. YoRHa Model 30B generally boasts an upbeat and somewhat overbearing disposition and aims to keep herself and those around her smiling and in good spirits. Trends in her data show that she tends to care for others more quickly and deeply than other units, and as such tends to grow fiercely protective of those she deems "friends". Unit 30B seems to share a few traits similar to those found in Scanners; such as frivolous conversation-making, cracking silly jokes, and vocalizing opinions. Despite this, she is still more than capable on the battlefield, performing at intervals considered optimal for Battle-class models. Due to the experimental coding included as part of her deployment, however, unit 30B also sports a surprisingly strong capacity for fury, easily becoming enraged when squadmates are injured and taking an unusual pleasure in others, be they machines or non-affiliated androids, assume her to be weak and fragile due to her usually sunny nature. It is the project's intention that this fiery sublayer and self-sufficiency will counteract the flaws found in older models.

Long-term effects are currently inconclusive. Additionally, unit 30B has displayed a habit of procrastinating on mission directives in favour of energy-consuming detours and explorations, delaying results. Behaviour parameters of this unit are becoming increasingly unpredictable. Close monitoring conducted by a local E-class model recommended.
