He's a big guy, but doesn't cut much an imposing figure, since most of the time he seems to be half-asleep. Tired as he is, Victor's a hard worker when he does get to it, and runs his factory-turned-pokemon-ranch well enough. He can be a bit of a ham, which might explain the ranch's name, but he doesn't commit to the bit for long, as embarrassment shakes him out of it pretty quick.

He cares a lot for the pokemon on his ranch, though he can be a bit too lenient sometimes, and downright lazy in some cases. For the most part, he keeps them in line with the help of the two he got first, Maxx ( a magneton ) and Bey ( a baltoy ). With them helping with the paperwork and rules-watching, he focuses on keeping the pokemon happy, but most of the time that just means being a sucker for their puppy-dog eyes and spoiling them a bit too much.

He means well, and can be clever, but emotions get to him too easily - fear and anger most often. There's a decent chance that if he gets spooked, he'll pick you up and run away from the danger. If there's no escape, he might just freeze up, unless the threat can make him mad before it scares him - but then, he'll just rush in without thinking, and that's a whole other problem. Dangers only really affect him if they're immediate, though. Long-term things don't do much to him - maybe that's why he hasn't noticed that the gases of the factory are the cause of his sleepiness? Prolonged exposure has sapped his energy, and every day he seems more and more lethargic.
