Toby is a demon who resides at the side of a famous ringmaster in the 1810's. He was summoned to provide the ringmaster with protection and wealth. He rarely leaves his side, but doesn't enjoy his company. Doesn't speak to anyone, but can telepathy speak to the ringmaster. Often aiding him with his performance and giving horrible ideas. Most performers know he's a demon, and are terrified of him. They stay, despite the abuse suffered from the ringmaster, in fear that Toby will track them down and steal their souls.
