Finch isn't afraid to get ugly. They are blisteringly confident + coolheaded. They carry themself with a kind of determination that seems unshakable. Nobody is going to stop them, no matter what happens. They're poor with words so they use action to show people how much they love them - or how pissed they are at them. While it's nearly impossible for Finch to hate someone, they're willing to put their foot down and act cold when it counts.

The overall mood is "even a worm will turn." They are highly empathetic and tend to mom their friends, joking around and never taking anything too seriously. They can be over the top sometimes, but will own up to their mistakes and when they've hurt someone else. They don't really want to hurt anyone and want to avoid as much bullshit as possible.

They + Conquest feed off each other, magically and in a dynamic sense. Conquest believes that Finch has to prove themself to it, and Finch is going to make them eat those words. They can take anything anybody throws at them, and that's a promise.

Finch wasn't very familiar with magic at all before The Bullshit happened. Using Conquest's power, they quickly advance into being an adept mage and all that comes with it. They have a basic knowledge of spellcasting and enchantment, and usually default to lots and lots of fire.
