Prince George Swamp Dragons (g. Bruce and Vaz)

Two of my all-time favorite Swamp Dragons, and teammates for most of their careers, Bruce and Vaz are inseparable in my mind, incredibly dominant and long-careered players who were both elected to the Hall of Fame only two years apart.

Bruce Moors, a corner outfielder for PG, was on the big league team for 20 years, winning nine platinum sticks (silver sluggers), two MVPs, ten all-star selections, as well as earning six championship rings with Prince George and many other career accomplishments. I briefly traded him to Surrey in 2062 because he was unhappy about his position on the team– but I knew what he would be and soon brought him back home to be a cornerstone of the team for another decade.

José Vazquez was on our big league team for 21 years, winning pitcher of the year (Cy Young) four times, platinum sticks twice (batting over .200 as a pitcher), he was a ten time all star (an unbelievably dominant  pitcher, he started the game nearly every time), and earned the same six championships with Bruce. Both men retired with easy possession of most  of PG’s team records and Vaz owns by far the highest career WAR of any FBL pitcher of all time. He is the only FBL player to be inducted into the Hall of Fame unanimously.
