Cyrille

Cyrille is a shy and recluse girl in an average middle-class family of six. Despite not being a tomboy by nature she wears boyish clothes, as she has extreme insecurities and anxieties with her body that she feels girly clothing wouldn't suit her at all. Being the youngest out of four children, she is often left out since all her elder brothers were talented, smart, and sporty individuals. There weren't that much expectations of her from her parents or teachers because she was a frail-looking girl with an average standing and appearance. This eventually led her to grow more detached with everything.

When winter came, she went out alone early in the morning to experience fresh falling snow. She didn't know what came onto her that she felt like wanting to walk on the frozen lake's surface even when the ice was still thin. She kept walking and walking till it cracked. The next thing she knew she fell into darkness as her body felt sharp pain all over. When she came to, she realized she was already dead and has now become a winged spirit. When she looked at her grieving family, that was the only time she felt that they finally noticed her.

Being stuck as a spirit meant she has unfinished business, or possibly being punished by god. Whichever the case she wasn't really optimistic or enthusiastic in the prospects of being reborn. Eventually she found herself in an old orphanage where she meets another angel named Dae-Ho, a boy whose smile shines like the sun.
