Ethel

Ethel is an ordinary grandmother. Who just happens to exist in multiple universes, with a house that is insanely attractive to members of closed species.

Some universes she knows about the creatures living with her, other universes she does not.

Ethel likes knitting, gardening, reading and writing, and making and baking sweet treats for her grandchildren, neighborhood kids, and the creatures that inhabit her life. Her husband died several years ago, and she's dedicated her remaining years to enjoying life to the fullest: exploring nature and making friends with all who cross her path.

Ethel always carries bird seed and dog and cat treats in her pockets.
She smells like that old flowery perfume your grandma wears/wore that you can't find anywhere else.
Lifelong allergy to gold (gold jewelry always gave her a terrible reaction across her skin).
