Character

History

Chip is just your average wild Mothcat who has always lived in Morel Hollow. His life has been peaceful and generally happy, though it has had its rough patches. He lost his parents to illness when he was rather young, but he had plenty of help and support from family friends and neighbors, so he made it though alright and managed to keep his spirits up for the most part. He did get into a funk occasionally and spent some time alone in his nest brooding, but he usually came out of it again after a couple days. When he met Angeline a while later, that was when his life really began to look brighter again. The two are pretty much inseparable, and Chip even sometimes goes along with Angie when she visits her human family, though he just stays in their garden and won't go inside the house because it feels too closed-in in there. Angie's family makes sure to come outside and feed him birdseed so he feels welcome, too.

The beaded necklace Chipper wears is very precious to him because it holds a feather from each of his parents. He feels it helps him stay connected to them. He rarely ever takes it off, usually preferring to put on anything else he wears on his neck, such as scarves or his Mothscouts sash, over it.

Fatherhood

Not long ago, Chipper and Angeline became the parents of two adorable little Mothkittens, Flash and Tate. Angeline had always longed to be a mother to a new Mothkitten and had tried adopting several with no success. Chip hated seeing her getting more and more sad as time went on, so finally he suggested they go and ask Falena to grant them kittens of their own. Because of their unique relationship, Chip and Angie asked Falena for magic cocoons instead of having them the traditional way, which would have been too weird and uncomfortable for them. Chipe was nervous around the delicate new babies at first, but once they grew a little stronger, he became much more confident. Now he loves to play with the twins and teach them new things.

Family

Another development in Chipper's life is the return of his cousin Arabella to Morel Hollow. She used to visit a lot when they were young, but now she's come to stay and make a new, more stable life for herself after a kittenhood of almost constant travel. Chip is thrilled to have his cousin and dear friend around and introduce her to his new family and friend. Who knows what kinds of shenanigans the two will get up to?
