She is the direct, shapeshifting avatar/incarnation of the sleeping goddess* the closest source of communication to said diety that can be achieved. OOC I am very connected to this character, I consider her to be a visual representation of my non-physical essence, she is me.

BACKSTORY
*To explain Erema's backstory, I should first explain this for context. The world of Eremus (homeworld of fumis and levilarvae) revolves around a substance known as aether. Vast areas of aether dust covers the planet's surface as a sort of dust desert, which floats over a deep ocean that surrounds the planet's true crystalline surface. This radiant crystal is the source of aether, it dissolves into the ocean from the crystal surface. This mysterious substance, which can be found virtually everywhere on the planet, is actually a sentient entity in itself. It carries the memories and emotions from living life on the dust surface and delivers them to the crystal, which collectively identifies as a diety known as Erema. Although immobile in crystal form, she can create incarnations of her different personality traits and send them to live at the surface. However, these incarnations are not typically aware of their true identity since they can't communicate with Erema until after death, they live life as any other inhabitant of the planet and pass on those experiences instead.
Beings who live on Eremus consider Erema to be their creator diety, and have given her titles such as the sleeping goddess, since they believe her to be trapped in crystaline slumber. These beings are literally minor incarnations of Erema themselves since they have aether flowing through them.
OOC what all this repersents: My headworld literally and metaphorically represents the fantasy I've built around myself to cope with some struggles in my life (particularly the conflicting emotions of feeling unimportant and being very important, as well as feeling like I'm too different for anyone to understand me. I don't always feel this way, though). The entity that created and is surrounded by the world of Eremus represents myself, and the creatures being connected to this entity through aether represents how I too am connected to my creations, as they are the result of my creativity, emotion, interests, thoughts, morals, and essence; they are part of me.

OTHER
- Erema's appearance is heavily influenced by her state of mind. Minor examples of this include gaining physical mass and becoming overall more monsterous/intimidating when frightened, to scare off whatever is causing the distress. Major examples of this include transforming into much different forms, examples of such can be found in Erema's Links.
- To reiterate, she is a shapeshifter, her design can be played around with. Her markings, body proportions, shape of her antennae, markings, colors, ect can be fiddled with, though I tend to keep the overall identity of her design consistent. If you would like to create fan art (which I'm perfectly fine with and would be happy about!) please know that you can play with her design in this way.
