Mina

Mina's father is the head of her village, bit of a stretch for a princess but I count her as a part of my "Cenore Princesses" anyway. The "Princesses" are more so girls whose stories were inspired by fairy tales and myth.

She is a kind girl but very defensive around most people. She has severe PTSD which I won't go into very much as it is a very sensitive topic. Let's just say she does not trust easily.

The only person she mostly trusts is the baker's son, Lucas.
Lucas is smitten with her but she just sees him as a friend who is more trustworthy than others.

One day she goes out into the surrounding forest alone, despite the warning of wolves. She ends up meeting a boy her age, Blaine, who has red eyes, the mark of being a wolf. All her life she has been told to keep away from the wolves because they are dangerous but in her mind she was severely hurt by someone she was told she could completely trust so she takes the risk and decides to see if trusting this wolf will take her anywhere. Not to mention that before her trauma she was warned by a wolf child to be careful, a child that is now the boy before her.

"Wolves" in this story are shapeshifters, a clan of wolf shapeshifters with distinct red eyes.

Mina and Blaine become close friends and eventually start seeing each other romantically in secret.

She wears a necklace with a wolf's tooth that used to be Blaine's father's. He gives this to her when he confesses his absolute love for her.
