As the dimly lit warehouse loomed in the shadowy industrial district, two figures stood before an imposing obstacle: an indomitable steel wall, a barrier that seemed insurmountable to all but the most resourceful. Even the strongest of the two, equipped with a blade and gun, could not penetrate it. Despite their efforts, the barrier remained steadfast, mocking their attempts to breach its defenses.

In the midst of their frustration, a third figure approached:

Agent Scarlet.

"Need a hand, gentlemen?" Scarlet's voice cut through the tense air, almost amused by watching his partners struggle with the wall.

The two peers turned to regard Scarlet, their brows furrowed as if they were already annoyed by his appearance. But considering his line of work, they step away. Quietly. With a sly grin, Scarlet pulls out an object in his hand. One can compare it to a grenade, but much more dangerous to someone who knows very little about explosives.

BAM!

As the steel finally gave way with a resounding crash. Dust and debris filled the air, momentarily obscuring his form before settling to reveal the three agents, waiting for the opportune time to step in. Ken is excited to make use of his newly acquired weapons by joining his peers in the firefight...

Unfortunately, he feels his phone vibrate in his back pocket. Agent Scarlet could only assume his time to use his new toys are now. Holstering his gun, he sighs, and then picks up his phone.

"Ah, seems like the boss needs me elsewhere," he rolls his eyes.

"Have fun, boys!"

About

Personality

8013530_4VPCOSKcYwXxVqE.pngBold, confident, and a thrill-seeker. He'll take any opportunity to test any weapon he's got in his hand. His hot-blooded nature fuels his desire to be at the forefront of action, always eager to dive headfirst into dangerous situations for the promise of a reward. This impatience with others stems from his inherent belief in his own abilities, leading him to often underestimate the challenges that lie ahead.
Ken's confidence in his skills extends to his approach to combat, where he sees taking opponents' weapons as a trade-off: his victory in exchange for their lives. However, unless it is Grandfather's wishes for his target to be dead, he makes sure that they're incapacitated first before Agent Scarlet gets someone else to do the violent work. This mindset showcases both his fearlessness in the face of danger and his pragmatic approach to conflict resolution, but still human enough to acknowledge and be sensitive enough to killing people. Despite the inherent risks of his profession, Ken remains seemingly unaware or unconcerned about the dangers he faces, maintaining a nonchalant demeanor even in the most perilous of situations.

Agent Scarlet's fascination with weapons and artillery is most definitely what he's known for. His genuine interest in others' weapons reflects his passion for his craft, as well as his keen eye for innovation and technology. This enthusiasm has originated from his previous occupation, a trader with underground inhabitants and the deep web, where he established himself as a reputable procurer of sensitive and illegal equipment.

Ken may not be as physically capable as the First or Second agents, but he is well known to be the most resourceful. Agent Scarlet loves to appear in the most convenient timing. Whether it be providing additional manpower, or drive by pickups... he'll make sure the mission gets accomplished in the most flashiest ways.

Backstory

Kennedy Baxter was born in California, United States, to a Filipino immigrant father who had once been a member of the underground organization known as the Prodigal. However, seeking a better life for himself and his son, Kennedy's father decided to distance himself from the organization, opting instead to open a bakery using the funds he had accumulated during his time with the Prodigal.
Growing up without a mother, Kennedy spent much of his childhood in the modest bakery alongside his father. Despite his father's efforts to shield him from the dangers associated with the Prodigal, the bakery inevitably became a focal point for the organization's interests. Therefore sending people, both peaceful and violent alike. Kennedy was exposed to this world of intrigue and danger from a young age, witnessing armed visitors and occasional confrontations that tested his resolve.

Rather than instilling fear in him, however, these experiences ignited a fascination with weaponry and the dangers they represented. Kennedy found himself drawn to the allure of guns, swords, and knives, captivated by the power they wielded and the stories they told. His father's efforts to shield him from the Prodigal's influence inadvertently sparked Kennedy's curiosity and desire to explore this shadowy world further.
As Kennedy grew older, his fascination with weapons only deepened, driving him to seek out opportunities to learn more about them and eventually leading him to pursue a career as a procurement specialist for the Prodigal. Rather than inciting protests against the Prodigal's existence that heavily influenced his questionable history, he was surprisingly interested as to why the organization had such power in the first place.

Despite his father's best efforts to protect him, Kennedy's destiny was inexorably tied to the world of the Prodigal, where he would carve out a name for himself as Agent Scarlet, a fearless operative with a passion for weaponry and a knack for procurement.

Kennedy's father has no idea of his son being heavily involved with the organization he had tried escaping from. But instead of questioning his own son's whereabouts, he focuses his attention to his nephew Elliot, who takes up as being the new owner of the Bakery.

Relationships

Grandfather  [ Boss ]

Grandfather acknowledges Kennedy's work much before his origins. Yet even finding out that his father was one of his Administration Members that went "missing," he cares little on trying to get him back. Quite often does Grandfather requests Kennedy's help, he makes sure he's properly rewarded in the end. If he has to send him a box of pizza every time he completes a mission along with a hefty check, then he'll do it as long as it gets Kennedy to stay working for him.

[First Agent] Redd  [ Coworker ]

As much as Redd appreciates getting a ride home, there is only one thing that they could get along with: Food. Despite how scary Redd might have first appeared, Kennedy finds it surprising to get along with him in such a short time. Agent Scarlet often has to leave Redd's side to help the other Agents, However, if there is that rare occasion where he's not doing anything and Redd is within distance, he'll gladly offer to take him out for dinner when the time is appropriate.

Elliot[ Cousin ]

Elliot is the only relative Kennedy could get along with... aside from his father, who he rarely sees. Only because the bakery was his home, he's relieved that his cousin was more than willing to take over the business once his father retires. He's partial to the bakery, and whenever he's in town he'd come to eat. Although it's assured that the store is no longer threatened by outsiders or the Prodigal, Agent Scarlet still requests that the Prodigal keeps a close eye on it.
Agent Scarlet has recently been involved with Elliot's circle, regarding Prodigal business. He never expected that Elliot has been in close proximity to not only Administration Members Hope and Viktor, but is also close friends with Emery, a Prodigal candidate. Therefore it only makes sense for Kennedy to ensure nothing comes to harm on Elliot and his innocent life.

Reuben  [ Acquaintance ]

Reuben Dayes is not part of the Prodigal, but he has been reacquainted with several agents that he's been recognized. Most especially Agent Scarlet, who often finds himself intercepting him (or getting intercepted) on multiple occasions. It was a rocky beginning with Reuben, but after collaborating with him, Dayes has been not only a reliable "friend" but a useful resource if additional manpower is needed.

Kaeas  [ Acquaintance ]

Like Reuben, Kaeas has also been involved with Agent Scarlet, but not a Prodigal Agent himself. A wandering vigilante in the city, he's managed to slip through Kennedy several times. It's not enough attention for Grandfather to order other Agents to go after him, but rest assured Scarlet is enough to deal with Kaeas's being a nuisance with the Prodigal.
In the same situation with Reuben, Kennedy has gotten Kaeas's respect after the trio had gone through a multitude of hurdles during one of their missions. Therefore, if Baxter truly needed a hand, at least he knows that Kaeas is somewhere to help him out.
