First and foremost he is a deeply kindhearted and empathetic person to his core. The kind of person who would throw themselves into line of fire to protect someone, or give even their last dollar to a stranger that they thought needed it. Charlie also tends to lean for the dramatics not unlike his Father, loving to sing and dance whenever he gets the chance to do so. His emotional intelligence is fairly high, able to fairly easily see how others are feeling around him and predict what actions people take through how they might be feeling. Taking after his 'mother' he is also headstrong, not giving up on things or people once he has fully set his mind to them. Particularly strong in him is the heart of an adventurer, he is imbued with the desire to explore and learn constantly, to meet plenty of people and change the world for the better. As much as he can be intelligent, strong-willed, and empathetic, these translate into some of his more negative traits. Due to his natural inclination to believe in the potential of people, he can avoid addressing problems with his 'friends' behavior, and support someone who is in the wrong at times. He also tends to have a huge weak-spot for those he considers close to him, meaning he can be easy to take advantage of. Not unlike his 'mother' his stubbornness can get in the way at times, since often his opinion of others can stick to the degree that it causes clashes with others. Finally, his predisposition for holding himself accountable for others emotions means that if he can solve a situation he will put the blame on solely on himself no matter how unfair, and even will full blown avoid his own negative emotions to help others instead.

During the first adventure to save the world of Impar- otherwise known as the time that Shimera went evil and infected all of the legends with Sins to control them- the pair known as Quinn and Damian met. What was simply a mutually beneficial travelling arrangement blossomed into something a bit more heated- after all what can be expected of a bunch of hormonal young adults fighting gods to do in their free time. An untimely encounter with the woman in red, a local menace in the Nemo community who happens to be very, very spiteful, gave Quinn the ability to become...well pregnant. Unknown to the pair, they had a fling and a few months later Charlie was in the picture. Despite not holding any ill will toward one another, they didn't seriously pursue a romantic relationship, more-so adopted a 'shared custody' sort of arrangement to raise Charlie healthfully. Now it's been several years since that time, and the young Nemo loves both of his parents very much to this day.

Early Life

Born to two adventurer-heroes it comes as no surprise that he spent most of his early life on the road. Nemo children tend to grow much quicker then the average human child so by 6 months into his life he had the equivalent mental and physical age of a toddler. During the brief break in travels that Quinn took to raise the small child, he developed a stubborn personality- despite being kind to a fault- this meant that once they were back on the road he often got himself into a touch of trouble trying to keep up with people much, much older then him. From a young age he was exposed to the idea that if something was wrong in the world you had a duty to try and change it, developing into his personal moral code and ideas of what it means to be a hero. Not unlike the rest of his species he feeds on an emotion, specifically harmony, but due to his particular emotion to feed on, conflict makes him especially uncomfortable. This meant that even in his young relationships, he tended to try and be a peacemaker.
