About
Bates, the son of the Spooky-Dread Plate, from Arceus, and a Nemo, a species of energy being, hasn't had what one would call a....'normal life' by any stretch of the imagination. Imagine being born from a 'geode' where you manifested a physical body after breaking out, shortly after being adopted by a polyamourous couple consisting of a Nemo Squirrel, a Ghost, and a Dragon Woman, who saved the world in their youth. Home life was defintely something, since he spent most of his days training for no other reason then the fact that his adoptive father, the ghost, didn't want his children to not be able to defend themselves. Finally growing into his own he discovered he was actually related the creator of the world- Arceus- as the son of a manifestation of the ghost and dark types. Huh. Safe to say, adventure in your blood, you set off for your own epic as soon as possible....it just happened to also involve all of the children from the people who saved the world years ago. Funny how fate works out huh?
Raised in a house to value exploration and curiosity, it's no surprise he picked up a penchant for adventure and a thirst to learn more, to fight for what you believe in! With his trusty brother by his side, Bates is confident, borderline cocky, and self-assured, he believes you can do anything that you set sufficient willpower to. This does mean he can often become stubborn, persistent in his goals or plans even when they may not work out. Other then that, he has a perverted and flirty streak, known for being quite the tease toward men, especially a certain son of a guardian of Arceus, at times.

Quinn Harvey [ Adoptive Parent ]
When he was abandoned shortly after birth and given up to the Nemo orphanage system, he was taken in by on Quinn Harvey and his family. Oddly enough this was before his connection to Damian and the plates had been made apparent, but life works in mysterious ways. Now they are as close as ever, though Quinn can get overbearing, his son knows he loves him deeply.
Damian Scott [ Uncle? ]
The Plates of Arceus are an extension of the 18 types, connected to Damian through the guardianship system and some nemo shenanigans, they use his body to manifest physical form. His father, the fusion of the Dread and Spooky Plates, knows about him now that he is grown up, and attempts to connect with him still, as he couldn't for much of his- albeit accelerated- childhood.
Lecter Harvey [ Twin Brother]
The fraternal, and half, twin brother of his. They share the same mother but have different fathers as a result of super-fecundation. Although they grew up together and are twins they don't really get along perfectly, but with Lecter frequently stopping his more perverted antics and Bates tempering his more sociopathic tendencies, they strike a balance within one another usually.
