Safi is the charismatic leader of SAION. He is generally open, friendly, kind, and always willing to lend a helping hand. Most people generally like him and respect him. However, he has an obsession with rooting out injustice in the world at the cost of everything else. Safi fixates on this and operates on a one-strike policy when it comes to people. Once on his bad side, you are his enemy forever. That said, he tries to see the best in people, so it isn't often that things get to that point.
HISTORY
Safi is the de facto leader of a computer hacker group known as SAION. The name is a portmanteau formed from the names of the three founders: Safi, Izolda, and Aubrion.
The SAION logo.The three of them have been friends since elementary school since Aubrion and Izolda saved Safi from racist bullies. As they got older, they became more disillusioned with the harsh, corrupt world they lived in and formed an internet community (also called SAION) where they could be more comfortable. Compared to the other two, Safi spends a lot more time in the real world, translating their online activities into actions.
As a group, SAION tries to spread the truth about their government by leaking confidential reports they find via hacking. The SAION community as a whole is more divisive, with some of its members being very justice-minded while many others being bullies who wield the SAION name for less pure intents and purposes. Safi is very adamant that the SAION group be more about justice and does not hesitate to root out and punish those he feels is using the SAION name for "evil". Izolda, the biggest activist of the three, has distanced herself from the community somewhat, focusing more on their activities as a trio. She sees the community as important, however, because she feels that the SAION community is an effective distraction from the core SAION trio's crimes. This makes it easier for them to hack into government and corporate networks while the higher-ups are focused on the words and actions of the anonymous community.
Safi is known by his moderator username of AG; he doesn't communicate with the other members as much as Shion and Izolda. However, his word is law and he commands respect throughout SAION and even spilling into the real world.
After the government looming over their heads got to be too much, the three of them moved to a nearby foreign country into a one-room studio in the basement of a brothel. They surface for food, pleasure, and the occasional bit of work, but otherwise they conduct most all SAION activities from there. They do commit some crimes or do contract work for money, but try not to harm innocents.
The nature of SAION's work is morally ambiguous. It's undeniable that they have ruined nearly as many lives as they've saved and there is certainly an element of "playing God" in what they do. Certainly, they've never tried to present themselves as a wholly altruistic group. But despite the occasional quarrel, the three of them are loyal to each other to the point of death and none of them regret their current lifestyle.

TIDBITS
He's living in a modern dystopia, so it's in the real world but in about 100 or 200 years when the government has kind of collapsed. There's robots and holographic displays, but no flying cars or jet boots or that sort of thing. He likes using computers (he's the admin of this big messageboard site and is a hacker), things pertaining to Hinduism, and eating sweets, especially pastries. For dislikes, he hates evil people (bullies, corrupt rich people, etc) and doesn't really like angry rock music or small dogs. He also gets a little nervous when it rains.
