Silentstep

  Silentstep, Aspenkit then, was born in Mistclan near the end of Leaf-Bare, with her brother who died soon after birth from cold, Coalkit. Her mother was Foxflower, and father was Stormwatcher, who were both excellent parents, and took great care of Aspenkit. As a kit, she got into trouble all the time, examples being messing up the medicine cat den at three moons old, hiding mouse bile in one of the other kit's nest at 5 moons, and nearly delaying her apprentice ceremony when she was nearly 6 moons old. Aspenkit snuck out of camp, running into a young fox who would've killed her, if a patrol didn't get to the kit at just the right moment. The leader had decided to make her wait another moon, but Stormwatcher convinced him by saying that her energy would be able to be directed into apprentice tasks. Nonetheless, Aspenkit still got a big scolding from both Foxflower and Stormwatcher before her ceremony.

  6 - 13.9 Moons

  Aspenpaw was assigned with the mentor Snowthistle, who was a white tom with bright blue eyes. He was a senior warrior, and had enough patience for dealing with Aspenaw. She always found some way to get into trouble, and when she did, her mentor would always give her a strict punishment, which usually involved caring for the elders by herself for a few sunrises. Aspenpaw never excelled at fighting, and preferred to hunt instead, always catching at least one piece of fresh-kill whenever they came back from a hunting patrol. Aspenpaw's denmates liked her, as she almost always had something fun to talk about whenever things were dull, and always managed to cheer up the cats around her when not in trouble. As Aspenpaw grew older, her excitement for everything simmered a bit, so that the apprentice wasn't doing mousebrained things and pranking cats anymore.

  During her final assessment, Aspenpaw exceeded excellently with her hunting and tracking skills, never once missing. She had caught two plump squirrels, one rabbit, and three mice, before it was declared that she has passed her assessment. At sunset, Aspenpaw was given her warrior name, Aspentail, and was named for her excellent hunting skills, and her bubbly personality. She was then made to sit her one night vigil alone, in the crisp Leaf-Fall air.

  14 - 28.9 Moons

  Aspentail sat her vigil without breaking any of the rules of it, staying still and listening for any sounds in the land that were to be deemed threatening. When the sun rose, her former mentor, Snowthistle, called her off to get some sleep. However, when Aspentail went into the warrior's den, she did not spot her parent's sleeping bodies. Frantic, she ran out of the den, looking at each of the other dens to find that neither Foxflower nor Stormwatcher were in any of them. By then, cats were starting to wake up and became aware the two cats were missing from the camp, and were on the verge of sending out search parties. Desperate, Aspentaildidn't wait for any such thing to take place, and ran out of the camp, calling and searching nearly the entire territory for her beloved mother and father. She didn't find them. Not until she was starting to head back to the camp. She was almost across the Cedarclan border when Aspentail found her kin, mangled with fresh blood that was starting to dry, clawed and mauled until she could barely see the hue of the pelts anymore. The claw marks were those of badgers, and it seemed that there were at least two, otherwise it seemed impossible that two good warriors would've died. She had let out a wail across the territory, attacting her clanmates, and they carried on with their duties until sundown, where they sat vigil and mourned. Aspentail hadn't spoken at all for the entire day, and had both her head and tail down in mourning. She slept by her parents' now cold bodies in the vigil, and in the early light the two were taken away to be buried.

  For the next sunrises after, Aspentail lost her bubbly spirit, and her enthusiasm for anything to do. She did everything poorly, even her hunting, before Snowthistle, ready to become an elder, scolded her and told her that Foxflower and Stormwatcher wouldn't have wanted her to be so depressed. She took her old mentor's advice, and tried to be her old self again, but it didn't work, and she was left with a hole in her heart where her parents used to be. The leader, seeing that Aspentail had lost a part of her, decided that she was to be renamed. Aspentail protested weakly, saying that her name was the only part of her kin that she had left, and the Mistclan leader accepted her response, not giving her a new name. A few moons later, when Aspentail was 18 moons old, she requested her name be changed. Aspentail was no more, she had gone when Foxflower and Stormwatcher had passed. Accepting her request, the leader preformed the ceremony of renaming, making Aspentail to Silentstep.

  29 - 33 Moons

  After the gathering of new leaders, Silentstep approached Palestar in a small cave with a stream of water, and drowned the leader. Halfnight found out and nearly killed Silentstep, but after she was exiled, Nettlestripe from Nightclan gave her herbs and healed the badly wounded queen. However, the damage was done by Halfnight, and so Snowkit, her firstborn, was born dead. The rest of her kits, were born healthy, though. She gave them clan names because she still holds a spot in her heart for the clans, her only problem was Starclan's decision to make a medicine cat a leader.

  When she was exiled, she was brought to the edge of Cedarclan territory, where Nettlestripe, the medicine cat, healed her. Once Silentstep was well enough to move, she went to the barn in Nightclan territory for a few sunrises, before finding a neat den in a sheltered area, making her new home there with Jayshade. A moon after, she kitted, and had a litter of four kits. They were Snowkit, who was stillborn, but had a pelt as white as snow, Foxkit, a flame-coloured tom-kit, Fawnkit, a sandy she-kit with faint spots and stripes, and Shardkit, a dark tabby she-kit.

  After accidentally stepping over the Mistclan and Nightclan boundary, Halfnight dragged her to the Mistclan camp while all of the cats of the clan were out, and made her confront Palestar. After being dragged around the camp, Palestar and Halfnight force-fed the tabby with deathberries, making her die of poisoning. In her death, Starclan debated whether she belonged in their ranks, or with the Dark Forest. They ended up banishing her to the Place of No Stars, eternal punishment for killing her leader.

• Honest - Won't lie, faces consequences
• Bold - Speaks out against others if she believes they are wrong
• Loyal - Won't ever abandon her clan or break the warrior code
• Protective - Defends her loved ones, the clan, with her life
• True - Content as a warrior, willing to become leader
• Involved - Listens to problems, visits new arrivals, checks up on everyone
• Stressed at times - Will be snappy or sassy if tired or stressed
• Open - Lets strangers take advantage of her too often
• Doubtful - Unsure of self sometimes, unwilling to partake if not certain

• Silentstep does what she thinks is right, even if it doesn't follow the warrior code
• Silentstep is named for her skilled hunting, as she stalks without ever making a single sound
• She believes in Starclan, but however, does not follow their commands if she thinks they're wrong
• She has taken Palestar's first life
• She was nearly killed by Halfnight
• Snowkit was stillborn due to Halfnight giving Silentstep a belly wound
• Snowkit is named after her old mentor, Snowthistle, who was also a white furred cat
• She was called Aspentail for the striped markings on her tail
• Silentstep is named so because of her hunting skill and precision
• She has been visited by Frostwhisker before to join the Dark Forest and destroy Mistclan
• Silentstep was killed by deathberries, after being fed them by Palestar and Halfnight
• Her placement in the stars was a tough choice, but she went to the Place of No Stars
