Bahamut Dragoranthe radiant king
Write a quote here....
Bahamut believed he was born into greatness, that he would rule all of the known world in an Empire that serves the Light, and that he was chosen for this role by way of divine intervention. He pushed those beliefs on his followers, who were eager to accept it in the beginning. The world was in darkness until the Age of Light, and the Radiant Empire brought forth people from that darkness to live peacefully. For decades it was an ideal world, and the King was truly beloved by his people. But his ambitions grew too great for them, and the Empire fell following a Seven day war. Bahamut remains in exile, hunted by those he once called allies.

Bahamut bows to no one, and his arrogance and resilience means he never will. Despite being overthrown by his own daughter, he still believes it is his divine right to rule the Radiant Empire. He is cruel to those who do not bow to him, and even to those who do. His days as a benevolent King are lost to history as his malevolence takes precendence now. Quick to judge, he truly believes he is capable of passing judgement on even gods themselves, and will condemn anyone he see's fit to death for even the most petty of crimes. Often feared because of his strength and influence among those devoted to the Light, even without his kingship his reign of terror remains.
Background
Born to unknown parents, Bahamut came from seemingly nowhere before he founded the Empire of Light. He pulled people from the darkness that had plagued the world for ages, and brought them into the light to build one of the strongest and oldest Empires on Calderra. Having built it from the ground up, a sort of religion praising the Light and his Radiance was formed, strengthening the people's of the empire and giving them purpose. Soon enough, the empire flourished and stood strong against both war and plight. With a mighty army of sentinels and magick users they conquered much of the main continent of Calderra, establishing their reign under Bahamut's mighty rule.
As time progressed however, and the world outside the Empire of Light grew strong, loyalties were shifted and Bahamut changed. The once benevolent king became a tyrant to his own people, and the quality of life degraded drastically over the course of 30 years. Tensions rose within the Empire, and even his closest advisors turned against him. In a penultimate clash at the empires capital Bahamut executed many of his people, including his own daughter Morrigan, starting the Seven Day War which ultimately ended with his exile.
Now hunted, Bahamut remains dangerous to both the Empire of Light and others, his honeyed words temptation for the worlds rejected or derelict peoples. He has a small amassing of an army, and his capture or death is one of the highest paying bounties in Calderra.

Summary
An exiled King, a hunted man, Bahamut spends his time travelling form Empire to Empire recruiting those who are otherwise rejected by society. His words are powerful, anyone desperate enough to believe the rantings of a man who believes himself Divine will attest to that. His strength lies not in his own power, but the power of those loyal to him, and unfortunately for the world that number is many. Avoiding those who would seek to do him harm or capture him, he is surprisingly hard to find despite the numerous peoples around Calderra whispering and muttering about their brilliant "Radiant King".
Those that believe he betrayed them in the final moments of the Empire of Light still hunt him, the endless game of cat and mouse ever present. Most recently he has taken to a campaign of fear and terror in the empire known as The Whitewood, seeing as it took over most of his own empires territories upon his dissolution. Those living there fear for the Ancient and the Dragon that roam their woods in the shadows, and many have fled to the capital to seek refuge from the vengeful King.
