- Most of his refs don't tend to have him wearing the Octoling Shades. He typically only wears them in battle.
- He only has one tentacle on his head, please don't draw him with anymore.
- His octopus form only has 5 limbs.

Despite his tough and powerful appearance, which has been noted to put lots of people off, Spade is an Octoling who is very aware. Not only does he know his own capabilities well, but tends to know how capable others are as well. Because of this, he can be quite tolerant and welcoming of those he feels are very capable. He will back up those he feels rather close to, and will frequently crack jokes whenever he feels suitable. Yet, Spade has been known to have a massive weakness for food, and would gladly eat anything put in front of him. Well, within reason obviously...
Similar behaviour tends to occur in battle. Spade will often try to wait for his moments, making him rather patient. However, Spade often tends to act rather indifferent, often following orders without really thinking them through. He's considered to be quite the idealist, often daydreaming of what he considers an "ideal world". Spade has also been known to have a terrible temper, being rather easy to annoy and anger. Furthermore, he rarely lets his anger go.
- There's not a lot Spade can remember, including his name and backstory. The nickname Spade came from Marialena, mainly due to his pendant.
- He hates being called Eight and would prefer people to not call him that.
- He rarely talks, and only talks if he deems it necessary. Only Marialena and Coral have heard him talk. Although lots of people have heard him laugh...
- His favourite member of Off the Hook is Marina, and would probably die for her, ngl.
- He thinks that Calamari Inkantation is an okay song, and doesn't understand why so many people love it. He will admit, it is catchy though.
- His favourite song though? Fly Octo Fly.
- Spade rarely answers phone calls. Texting is fine, but he never picks up the phone.
- He's easily annoyed by puns.
- His favourite map is Moray Towers. No particular reason, he just likes heights.
