Scixynn

A conceptophage, a deity who's nothing and everything at the same time. Lives in a gigantic conceptual palace in space, away from humans as her true physical form is a cloud of poisonous stardust.

Appearance

She doesn't like nor has a real set physical appearance, she can 'shapeshift' or at least make others see whatever she wants to be, given it's an existing concept. However for graphic and aesthetic purposes she's a short and elegant fairy like deity, with very long lilac straight hair, purple-blue freckles and pure white skin. She has dark eyeliner and eyelashes, a small nose and her mouth is often covered with a surgical mask. Under her mask, her lips are corrupted with black cracks, representing her own gluttony and the punishment she receives as a deity for that. Her teeth are sharp and black, as well as the inside of her mouth.

Her eyes are like nebulae, the bottom flowing with purple and blue and some stars, and the top being white and grey. Her pupil is of a faded grey color.

She wears really flowy clothing, usually of pink, lilac, white colors. Again, this is mostly for graphic and aesthetic purposes, she's not fond of having a physical appearance, but when she does, she often makes herself feel untouchable and godlike.

Personality

She can shift her personality to whatever she wants based on any concept there is, and with this in mind, to the ones who really know her she comes off as arrogant. She's always trying to have the upper hand, and she can make herself be as passive as she wants. She can be many contradictory things at once, and they may or may not make sense.

She can make herself as complex as she can desconstruct herself to the simplest concept there is. However she can't erase herself from existence no matter how much she tries, as her first concepts in existence gave her strong survival instincts. She will consciously or unconsciously avoid things that threaten her status of 'being alive'. She's also not fond of being seen by humans, and is incredibly elusive.

While she's constantly on her high horse and technically looking down on all living things, she needs them to survive and respects them accordingly. It doesn't make her less than them, but she's very fond of what they have to think. She favors those who think outside the box which makes her value the unique. While this can be positive, she only focuses on what's unique and not if it's good or bad, and she might encourage the 'wrong' people. She doesn't care about that, though often these kind of thoughts are as 'neutral' as she is.

And, because she's constantly on her high horse she doesn't care of anyone is against her. You could viciously hate her, think a lot of things against her, and she'll accept them as much as she accepts any other concept. She won't do much about it, she doesn't push her abilities on other nor she gets personally offended. If she perceives a thinking being as a legitimate threat though her survival instincts will kick in etc.

Powers/Skills

She eats concepts, and unlike the common understanding of what 'eating' is, what she eats doesn't necessarily disappear. In fact, whenever she reaches to consume a concept, the act of making physical/psychic contact with it makes it stronger in the mind of a person. It's a bit like pulling out some relic out of the ground just to take a curious look and leaving it in the open air to be properly discovered. In the mind of a person, this results in a given thought to have more strength, so they keep thinking about it. Due to Scixynn's preference, these thoughts are often kind of odd for a person who doesn't have much unique thoughts in their lives, and they might even consider it intrusive. This effect lasts from a day to a couple weeks depending on how much contact Scixynn had with the concept. She often overeats.

Still though there might be times in which she eats an entire concept leaving little to no traces of it while she's too invested in eating it. This does coincide with the common understanding of 'eating' as the person will completely forget about what they were thinking and Scixynn would successfully steal it.

She can manipulate any concept she has eaten. The more she manipulates them, the more they get worn so she avoids manipulating the more unique concepts and chooses to store them. However in theory she can duplicate concepts using the concept of duplicating concepts so she doesn't lose any. She's still a huge hoarder regardless and her most unique concepts are her relics.

She can apply concepts to herself, to others, to things, etc. Anything she applies can only be perceived by sentient creatures who can process concepts, so for anything else on a given place, her constructs don't really exist. This doesn't bother her as she's not interested in physical things, but in a completely theorical way the only thing that could destroy her completely is an unstoppable and unthinking force of nature. Also, the erradication of thinking beings wouldn't exactly kill her, but it would render her powerless over the course of millenia as she'd have to consume her hoarded concepts to keep thinking.

Why keep thinking? Because she literally can't think on her own. She can't generate concepts or thoughts by herself, she can only arrange what she has consumed. In the beginning of times, this was much more complicated for her. Still though she can't come up with anything that doesn't exist in anyone's mind, which is why she yearns for unique things, so she can grow her current existing knowledge of everything, which is incredibly huge at the moment. 

Her physical form is a cloud of stardust that's poisonous in a long term exposure to humans, and since they're her favorite soure of food, she's forced to keep away from them most of the time. She keeps a conceptual palace in space, very very far away from humans, and it's suuuuuuuuuper big, technically invisible to the naked eye until you're inside, where you can perceive it as something very beautiful, made of crystal and stars. 

Backstory

She might've been much older than what she knows, but the first time she's had any conscience is the first time she absorbed what a human thought. Her first concept was the first thing she knew, but she could absorb more and more. She quickly shifted from being an amorphous cloud of stardust that hung out too close to humans to something with similar thoughts as one. Of course, she only copied what she could eat, and she only knew as much as they did, technically. The definitions of what happened on Earth, despite her being an extraterrestial being, she could only explain in their thoughts.

It was when she realized her presence started slowly poisoning the humans around her that she decided to take a step back, and to start observing them from above. Before this, though, she interacted with them long enough to want to try and make herself a name; one of her favorite concepts. Every name was important, it carried such a unique concept!

She gave it all her effort to make something unique for herself, and to be known as Scixynn. This has been the only time she came up with something on her own, or at least that's how it felt with how very little tools she had at hand compared to the modern age.

Eventually she came across the concept of deities, and that's where things got much more interesting for her. She wasn't just only an entity that ate thoughts, she immediately had much more power than anything else.

In setting, deities are special in the way that they can exist even if their existences are contradictory with each other. This means there can be countless 'most powerful' gods out there who don't cancel each other. They can defy logic and the laws of physics and basically anything there's defined to be. However if a deity indulges in something forbidden from them depending on their status, they can be corrupted.

With this new concept she could be punished for her gluttony, her core breaking the more she overate. But this wasn't that much of a problem, and fortunately everything else that came with being a deity fit very well with her. Deities are known to be fascinated by humans, after all.

While she was still pretty elusive as a deity, she met some other that were kind of similar to her. Deities that also consumed things from human psyche, invisible to the naked eye. They had a rocky start but with the centuries their relationship became that of a cycle, where the product of one led to consumption for the other.

Despite caring very much for this cycle, Scixynn has always been very independent and if she ever plots something, it's usually driven by her own desires.
