Halre comes across as laid back, preferring not to be in the centre of attention. She sometimes struggles with small talk as her dry, sarcastic sense of humour often gets in the way making it is not uncommon for someone to come away from a conversation thinking she dislikes them a lot more than she actually does. 

Halre grew up in a large city with her family. The Siarut's weren't rich and money was hard to come by. Halre spent much of her childhood helping her parents in thier shop when she could. However, luck would fall upon them after the death of Alfric Stedzovu, a rich elderly hermit, when it was discovered that Halre's father was his closest surviving relative meaning his inheritance would fall to him. The family quickly moved out of the poorer district and enrolled their children into one of the city's most prestigious magic schools. Halre, however, struggled with the change. After having so much freedom in her younger years she found the strict regiment of her new school life difficult and she often found herself getting into fights with other students.

- Halre once drunkenly swore a blood oath, only to completely forget what exactly it was by the morning. Her greatest quest is to track down someone who overheard what it was so she is able to complete it
