Those are not glasses she has, they are goggles. That do nothing. Anyway though, Alumina is the kind of person who has clear goals and the knowledge to achieve them, but it's putting that knowledge in to action that trips her up. Her dream is to obtain a commercial pilot's license, but even though she was able to get a private one, hence the goggles, she hasn't yet managed to do much better. Even so, she's quite optimistic and outgoing due to being naturally determined, thinking that even if she hasn't had much success for now, she'll get there eventually, but until then she works at an electronics store (because it's possible to use aluminium in wiring which is something I didn't know when I came up with the idea).

Relationships

Stann: Her closest friend, these two are together pretty much all the time. They also both have a super obvious crush on each other which everyone in the apartments knows about, but these two are just too shy it admit it.

Titania: Her other closest friend, if Alumina isn't with Stann then she's almost definitely with Titania. While in reality they have a mentor/mentee type dynamic, it can be hard to tell due to the fact that they have a long running inside joke where they pretend to be dating.

Magnolia: Another of her closest friends, Magnolia looks up to Alumina and shares many of her hobbies with her, for example watching motor sports and cooking.
