Belle was born male, but felt indifferent to her gender up until age 10. At that time, she developed gender dysphoria and was bullied for it. From slurs, to physical assaults, to being told she was "gay" or "weak"; her family moves and Belle was placed on hormone blockers until she was old enough to truly tell what direction she wanted to go.

At age 16 she started HRT, and saved up to get bottom surgery as an adult. She's not very open with it, but is willing to talk about her experiences with close friends.

In current day, Belle is top of her class, and regarded as a prissy know-it-all. Partly because she’s a teachers pet, and partly because she has a resting bitch face. She’s a ballet teacher for older children and adults, and performs as her job. Her dancing is not limited to just ballet, as she enjoys ribbon / fan dancing too. She had developed Iron Deficiency Anaemia and tends to use iron supplements prior to her dance classes. This isn't a fool-proof plan, as she has had episodes of dizziness and fatigue overcome her in the middle of dancing.
