While his favourite of favourites will always be Sherlock Holmes, he'll read anything with an interesting mystery plot!
Agatha Christie, Dorothy L. Sayers and Edmund Crispin are also amongst his beloved authors.
His pride and joy is his collection of puzzle boxes and other such parlour tricks.
Loves those little puzzles you get out of crackers at Christmas time.
Dexter has never successfully completed a Rubik's Cube - he always manages to get four sides done but can never do the last two.
But he's adamant he will manage it one day.
A librarian by trade, he's impressively familiar with the Dewey Decimal System.
He also loves hosting murder mystery dinner nights, he adores a spot of theatre!
