Profile

Brief Backstory:

Syriana Clarkson is a creature known as a Universalist, a Human-Cosmic Energy-AI hybrid that was artificially created on Creus, the Experimental Universal Station. She was an anomaly on creation, showcasing a broader aspect of powers not previously found in others that specialized in one specific power. That had led her to be one of the most prized possessions of the Benefactors that funded/controlled the stations, and went on to do many covert missions for them with a high success rate. However, after a battle that successfully took out all the benefactors on the field (alongside all Universalists except for herself, Sergio, and Drake), her previous failed mission, and the Collapse of the Universe in which the Creus station resided, Syriana became fully aware of the destruction and despair that she had brought onto others. Alongside the survivors, Sergio and Drake, she entered the Creus station, which still ran even after the death of all  breathing life on board, and went into a 1,000 year sleep, which she thought would be the end of her existence. It is now that she has awoken, and sees just how destructive the Universalists and their creators had actually been on the multi-verse with its long-lasting effects, where she takes the initiative to fix the wrongs of the past and preserve the future from experiencing those wrongs again.

Personality:

Usually there is a lot going inside her brain, making her always look like she's in a sour mood. It can make her a bit hard to approach, but once people do, they usually learn that Syri is thoughtful in her speech and usually only takes casually around people that she grows comfortable around. It's due to her empathetic powers that she thinks before speaking, and always has a kind word or leans towards comfortable silence to suit what someone might need at that time. However, Syriana has developed a slight anger issue due to her inability to let go of what she has done in the past, and if irritated too much, can go on an angry fit and become too stubborn to reason with. These outbursts become more far in between as she grows as a person, but do not go away, and Syri just learns to deal with it alongside her family. Sometimes her empathetic powers can get the best of her, and she has a tendency to put others before herself in most situations. For Syriana, there is only the end goal and that goal of showing the truth does not particularly need her to be alive to work. This is a common mentality throughout the Universalists, in which they have to learn to love themselves as much as they are beginning to love the multi-verse and grow their emotional capacities.

Some minor things about her is that she is a complete softie for people who are bold and start conversations/flirt with her first, as she doesn't usually get approached too often because of her intimidating stature, and has been known to flirt in return if in the mood. She only oversteps her boundaries when she knows something is severely wrong, cares deeply about her 'brother' Alexander(Who aren't really related but their relationship is that of brother/sister), and loves modes of transportation that isn't teleportation. The rush of seeing what you're missing in between the goal and where you are always fascinated her, and she prefers to use these methods other than her teleporting powers.

Strengths/Weaknesses:

      Strengths

  • Stealth missions, she is excellent in using her illusions to trick her foes into something else while she incapacitates them
  • Team strategies when more straight-forward and to the point
  • Leaning conversations towards what she wants/manipulation to get the information needed via her empathetic nature(ONLY if on a mission, she would never do this to someone casually, and if she did this, it wouldn't be out of malicious intent)
  • Due to her interest in transportation, she is adept at any vehicle she comes across, whether plane, spacecraft, etc.
  • Very skilled in the art of hand-to-hand combat and short-ranged artillery

      Weaknesses

  • Anger issues, if they appear, can cause her to be too aggressive and chaotic towards her intended plans
  • Has a harder time going against people who are not affected by her illusions, but has been working on this
  • Can be affected by power draining abilities, though it would have to be over a great period of time
  • Her transformations longevity are subjected to how large she has transformed into, and the more non-humanoid it gets, the less time she has in that form before she starts to wear herself out/pass out

Powers:

Has three main abilities, with one minor: Transformation, Illusions, and Advanced Teleportation, with the telepathic ability to sense fear and other emotions.

Her transformation lets her completely transform into anything that is organic in nature, and is an exact copy, which means fingerprints, eye-scans, etc will work in the form she takes. It is pretty straight forward, however the larger the creature she takes on, and how non-humanoid it is, can lead to her energy depleting faster and can become more of herself the more she is in that form. (Forms such as her just becoming a different species take very little power and can go on for long periods of times in forms that are just her, but different, and sometimes can be stuck in that form for a period of time if entering a universe with specific 'genre')

Illusions made by Syriana not only affect the eyes, but the other four senses as well if played right. It comes gracefully with her transformation powers, and used the most frequently. Is extremely powerful, even towards others with a higher control of the sixth sense, but can be seen through by those who look for the inconsistencies when they pop up. Or when the illusion is broken by loss of concentration/energy. The most effective it can be is when it involves fears, though Syriana has refrained from using it that way unless in extreme circumstances. This plays in par with her telepathic ability, but it only lets her know exactly what people fear, while other emotions are more of a vague sense than crystal clear.

Teleportation is more of a side effect of her past, yet compared to her other abilities, the most powerful. With enough energy, she can teleport to different universes, yet is mainly used to travel across in-universe territory. Isn't used that much unless necessary, and isn't as well-versed in it than her other abilities. Can be known to make Syriana teleport to a different universe than her initial intention.

Notes:

-DO NOT DRAW HER WITH HER NECK EXPOSED! It would be very out of character of her, as it makes her uncomfortable to all hell unless she is with someone she is close to.

-Please stick with her body type

-The circuit marking on her arm/tattoo on her leg with the alternative outfits artwork is optional

-Do NOT whitewash her.

- If you draw her with @marinakaefer's oc Cat I'll literally cry they have a very loving and supportive relationship and also nerds
