- struggles with imposter syndrome and also pretty bad depression. maybe more. most of this is due to having a lot to live up to and also living in his younger brothers shadow a lot of the time, and for most of his life he's felt unloved, which is what developed his cautious and standoffish personality. he hasn't received much compliments or positivity or social interaction that didn't have a malicious intent behind it so he's also somewhat cautious due to this, and believes everyone who *IS* nice to him is faking it until he sees the genuinity behind ones actions. when he's in depressive episodes or has breakdowns he will very often lash out at other people, and prefers to be alone at these times.
- he constantly daydreams of a more ideal life where everything went better, so he probably also struggles with maladaptive daydreaming.
- he often turns into sea-slug form against his will when he's overwhelmed. also yes, his sea slug form likely doesnt have eyes
- he has a younger brother whos an orange and white sea slug - his name is hachimitsu
- he can regenerate limbs. when i originally wrote this i went "yeah sea slugs cant do that" and i looked it up and it said they can so i'm goin with it. they regenerate at the speed a wound closes if that makes sense

So, basically, Mochū is the child of the queen and king of another sea, although trys to not mention it. He doesn't like being called a prince or any royal title anyways. He just had a decent life as a kid. Getting good grades at school even though he like, only studied for really big tests. Although, when he became 18 his parents sent him off to the Blue Sea.
About 3 years in advance, his parents made some of their sea's best builders make Mochū a pretty big lofty house within the Blue Sea. So, they sent him there and he lived there. I mean, what else do you really do? He has a little group of friends now, and he helps whenever an issues going on (like the whole red sea and war thing--) considering he is very powerful in his attacks, but can't hold up much on his own.
He personally likes his life without his parents better, but it honestly feels like he's still living with them because they check up on him very often. Only most of the royalty of the blue sea know he's a prince, and knows that he would like it kept secret. Yeah he doesn't have much backstory.
