Rio always admired the littlest weather phenomenon- Rain, rain patterns, astrology, cloud formations, and so on. While in school, this passion made him targeted by bullies at a very young age. Growing up, he became a silent skimmer, never telling anyone about his passion. All he normally did was just watching the sky in silence. He then met a fellow class mate in the the same grade, also an easy target for bullies due to her blindness. He stood up for her, but was in fear of what she would think of him. He quickly realized that he wouldn't be judged by the young skimmer, which brought him peace. Soon enough they became amazing friends and even began dating when they got older. Now they spend everyday together. He describes to Dusk the weather, and she imagines what it would look like.
