You can adopt or donate your unused characters for stars!
When donating, you get a certain amount of stars depending on the type of art the character has (ie, 90 stars for a flatcolored fullbody)

IMPORTANT! the characters here have no monetary value- stars are not a real currency. Think of it as a guaranteed trading system!

General TOS 

✦ Reselling or trading a character adopted from here is NOT allowed without added value (such as art, writings, etc.) if you have lost connection, you're always allowed to send them back to us!
✦ Please use the character you adopt from here. Write them a bio, doodle them in your homework, roleplay with them- just please don't adopt them to let them sit and collect dust.
✦ Immediately trading/selling a character gotten from here with no added value will result in a block/blacklist- the same goes for adopting from here just to immediately donate to another shelter. The point of this account is to relieve you of characters you don't want and get you characters you do- if you sell a character immediately after getting them, what's the point?

things to know before donating 

✦ Prices will be lowered if the donated character is extremely simple, or if images are low quality (such as with overwhelming compression artifacts, a bad-quality photo of a traditional drawing, etc). Note we do not use the term "low quality" to refer to the art/design itself, only the quality it is found in!
✦ Dollmaker/AI characters that have no extra art are worth 0 stars.
✦ Base-made art is priced as 5 stars less than the regular value.

when donating  

If it’s your first time donating, comment here! If you've already donated you don't need to comment unless you want your updated bank balance told to you (but you can always check it yourself here).
Don't be afraid to spam us with donations! It's not harmful at all, and it helps keep the shelter going. Same goes for adopting, though if you adopt a large number (~10) in a short amount of time you will be put on a 2-day cooldown so others have a chance to adopt. Just be mindful!

when adopting 

please do not comment on the character profile when asking to adopt, comment here! It's easier to keep track of everything when it's all in the same place.
