Kicked out of his tribe for having too much knowledge on the monsters of rain world, Vigor wanders the world alone. He keeps a journal to research the different creatures he encounters, and often leaves notes and warnings behind to warn others of the powers all of the monsters hold. He is clever and tricky, and knows how to think quickly and get himself out of situations, but is often impulsive and takes too many risks.

Vigor is a slugcat, and very otter-like in appearance. His main body color is a grey-rose color with a light colored muzzle, and he has no fur. He is pudgy but muscular, with short, strong legs and a thick tail. His ears are long and round, and his right ear is torn. He has a large, dark colored nose, and long whiskers. His eyes are large and round, and dark brown in color, with a rounded slit pupil. He has small, sharp teeth, and long, dark claws. He has three claws on his front paws, with one more thumb-like that he uses to pick up various things, and his back feet have two. He wears a large, golden collar.
