Tyta is cheerful and outgoing, often appearing in odd palces at odder times. She enjoys bringing gifts to her friends (almost everyone is her friend, whether they like her or not), and delivering cryptic warnings and phrases to people. Asking her for her insight on literally anything is asking to get some kind of metaphor that's difficult to understand. She's obsessed with the Moon, and considers herself its emissary on the earth.

Design
• Tyta is pitch-black everywhere when not glowing.
• Tyta does not have horned owl tufts or a pronounced beak. Her face is modeled after barn owls and should be drawn as such.
• She has more than five eyes scattered around her face, but five is the most common number to see. She can also be drawn with three, two normally placed eyes and the middle eye. None of this applies when she isn't glowing, in which case she looks like a pitch-black normal barn owl in every way.
Trivia
• Tyta is not a fursona or self-insert, I swear. It was a long and convoluted process that led to her being my online namesake, but my moniker of Tyta and Tyta the character are wholly seperate. She's her own character with her own goals and backstory and friends and has a place in the world without being a metaphor for me, I promise ;o;
• Tyta has a high pitched voice that is rarely louder than a whisper. She sounds child-like when she speaks, and seems to have a similar demeanor and understanding of the world. Despite this, she is the most powerful spirit alive other than Rapture. She rarely uses this power, however, and instead enjoys being a small and questionably cute bird because she thinks people like her more that way (she's right).
• When irritated, her feathers puff out, she narrows her eyes, spreads her wings, and hisses, much like a normal owl. When she's truly enraged, she awakens and takes on a more eldritch form, with eyes covering her face and the underside of her wings. Her feathers bleed and drip like pitch black ink filled with stars, and her voice becomes distorted. She uses her wings as front "arms", and her shape becomes more draconic.
• Tyta doesn't see in the traditonal sense. To her, everything looks like a night sky, and people and objects appear to made of stars and form constellations. She struggles to see at all during the day, becoming functionally blind, and so is only seen at night barring incredibly unusual circumstances.
• She has arms. They're just almost always hiding under her wing feathers unless she's actively using them. Her elbow is where her wing bends, and her forearm extends from there, not her chest.

Percy
Tyta stumbled upon Percy by accident. After his attack by a werewolf, she helped him get home safely, and made it her duty to check on him every now and then. Why she decided to do this, no one is really sure. She expressed her friednship by bringing him books, since she knows he likes to read, and garbage, because she likes it. Her visits sparked his interest in spirits and studying them, and she thinks he just asks funny little questions sometimes. She considers the two of them best of friends, and Percy doesn't disagree, he just finds her incredibly confusing. When he disappears from home, she grows incredibly distressed and tries to find him, wherever he goes.
Kova
Kova can't figure out for the life of him why Tyta seems to have such an interest in him. Personally, Tyta finds him polite and good conversation, not knowing that it's laregly because she's terrifying to him. Mostly, however, she does so because she was tasked with keeping an eye on him by the Great Spirit, Rapture. She hasn't been told why in depth and doesn't ask, but she knows she's supposed to do something if he becomes too powerful or loses control of himself. She'd rather not, though.
Mythias
An infrequent visitor to his Library, Mythias enjoys studying the much older spirit and trying to get her to talk morein deoth about the past, when the world was new. He's met with the same amount of cryptic nonsense and innocent babble as anyone else, however.
Penelope
The usually innocent, affable, and often bafflingly friendly Tyta cannot stand exactly one person: Penelope. No one has been able to figure out why. Even the sight of her makes Tyta irritable, fluffing her feathers and hissing until she leaves.
