Tae was once a devoted guardian of a sacred burial site. It was a place where powerful necromancers and souls tied to dark magic found their eternal rest. As a grem, Tae took his duty seriously, ensuring the sanctity of the crypt and protecting the place from trespassers.

One fateful night, a group of malevolent individuals with twisted ambitions sought to desecrate the crypt and harness the dark magic contained within. Tae, ever vigilant, confronted the intruders, determined to defend the resting place of the souls entrusted to his care.

Despite his valiant efforts, Tae found himself outnumbered and overpowered by the assailants. The malefactors, fearing his resilience and unwavering dedication, sought to make an example of him. In an act of ultimate cruelty, they sentenced him to a horrifying fate: Tae was buried alive within the very crypt he had sworn to protect.

But death wasn't the end. The potent energies of the necromancers and dark magic that permeated the soils infused his fading essence, reshaping him into a Cypherus and imbuing him with the power to command and manipulate the very forces he had once sworn to protect.

Tae would emerge from the depths of the crypt and spend his time restoring the place to its former state before eventually being scouted out by S.C.Y.T.H.E and agreeing to go with them.
