About

Harper is a woman in her 40s who for a very long time lived in a small village in the middle of a thick forest.

This forest was sealed away by an old dieing Reaper who planted what was left of themself into a stillborn baby to survive and thusly instead of reaping the young soul gave it a life. This however resulted in the village being stuck in time, no one ageing or dieing and instead the shadow of the Reaper sought out few souls to lead them into the forest and nurture Harper and the Reaper inside of her without her knowledge.

Many centuries later another Reaper made it to her village and bit by bit uncovered the secret truth that it was holding, ultimately becoming closer to Harper as well. At the end of the story the village was finally reaped alongside Harper who was given a new live as a Reaper, now being able to live alongside her new partner.
