Hana Nakao

half-human . half-vampire .

Hana was born from a human mother and a vampire father resulting in a rare occurence of a split personality/species. Because of this, she can withstand most things vampires usually can't like sunlight, garlic and etc. She is also stronger than most vampires for some reason. She has an older brother who is a full vampire. Because both her father and her brother are full vampires, they rarely meet with each other (since Hana in her human form tends to sleep early for school). Hana is the only half-human, half-vampire in existence due to the fact that usually one gene is more dominant than the other (either fully human or fully vampire). Her family keeps it a secret from the Vampire Association (VA) that she's a half otherwise she'd be experimented on.

Hana's vampire form is currently unstable so sometimes it comes out during random times (usually at night time). She has no control of her body when vamp Hana comes out but she retains the memories once she snaps back to human form. She can also turn vamp if she's low on blood. Usually because of her half-human, half-vamp genes, she can go through longer periods of time without blood compared to other vamps but eventually she gets hungry as well (her family usually gets blood packs from blood banks so they don't attack humans). Her secret identity is only known to those she chooses like her family, Mayu and Ryou.
