Bartolomeo

An ancient familiar assuming a bat-like form, Bartolomeo has resided in the depths of Hell since its formation at the dawn of mankind. He's seen it all, and is rarely impressed or surprised by anything anymore. That was, at least, until a certain Ignacio Delgado accidentally incited an uprising among the denizens of Hell amidst a drunken stupor. The Devil assigned Bartolomeo to be Ignacio's familiar while hunting down the escaped demons, something that Bartolomeo himself had no say in. Patiently going along with the assignment, Bartolomeo now accompanies Ignacio on his mission, always flapping closely behind him with an endless supply of mean-spirited dry quips at Ignacio's expense. Bartolomeo doesn't have any tremendously impressive powers, he has a limited degree of clairvoyance, and is able to sense and detect hidden objects or areas.

Though Bartolomeo is supposed to be helping Ignacio, he tends to do little more than watch Ignacio pull ridiculous stunts and blow himself up over and over again. Even though none of this is new to Bartolomeo, it seems that the novelty never wears off. "There he goes. He's gonna do it," He'll commentate in his dry Australian accent, watching Ignacio dive headfirst into danger once more. "Absolute legend."
