Personality
Taz is definitely the stubbornest person you’ll ever meet. After all, she’s taken over a theatre that’s definitely haunted and broke her gemstone. Whatever she puts her mind to, she will do it and give very little thought to the consequences. As long as no one gets very hurt, Taz will do whatever she wants. She’s very hard to stop.
Taz carries with her a sense of regality and purpose from her tall posture to her charming smile. Her appearance is very carefully crafted with every hair in its place and her clothes as wrinkle free as possible. She is the epitome of elegance and poise - she spends a lot of time on the way she looks.
Anastasia is a huge recluse who doesn’t particularly like to talk to people outside of her theater. A lot of it comes from her continual pain from her broken gemstone - it’s left her weakened and ill continually, and she doesn’t have many spoons left. Plus, she can’t exactly summon her horn anymore. It’s actually really frustrating - she used to be really active magically and socially and now she’s stuck at home. Anastasia really hates it when she’s perceived as weak.
However, Anastasia is surprisingly accommodating to those she’s made a personal connection with. Lumiere shows up at 2am needing asylum from debtors? Sure, why not. Persephone needs to practice dancing and wants someone to watch? Hell yeah! Even Mel can hit her up for ideas in regards to ghosts. She's surprisingly gentle despite her stubborn and reclusive nature.

History
Taz was born to very well off parents who were highly involved in government affairs. From a young age, she was raised to take their place by Cynthia’s side. Everything was catered towards this expectation.
Taz was having none of that. Not the pretty dresses her parents made her wear when she figured out she was a woman, not the rules and laws she was forced to memorize, and definitely not the fact that her life was set out for her.
So as soon as she was out of school she dropped them and went off to become an actor. It went fairly well at first - she got better and better roles, people loved her, and she was even getting decent amounts of money.
What was she supposed to do with that much money? Buy a theatre of course! There was an old, dilapidated theatre that no one wanted for some reason and she took advantage of that fact. So at age 33 she bought the Ruby Slipper and began to renovate.
That was apparently a bad idea, because Taz accidentally disturbed the resident ghost, who’d had it out for whoever was going to run the theatre. It was fun to deal with the ghost at first, but then the ghost caused an accident that scarred her left eye shut and severely cracked her gemstone.
Despite the sudden chronic pain, however, Taz was determined to open the theatre. Apparently, the ghost figured that she’d been punished enough and was now just going to be minorly annoying. Whatever. At least the ghost had respect for the shows that went on and never disturbed them.
With Taz’s guidance, the Ruby Slipper became a well known theatre where even the most famous of shows played. Taz loves it. She’ll even act in a few shows as well.

Taz is in love with Lumiere. It’s surprising - Taz didn’t expect to fall in love with the younger, kind of idiotic magician. But their kind nature and the light they brought into her life was more than enough to melt her stubborn heart and allow her to fall in love. She does her best to be an equal partner in the relationship despite her chronic pain.
Persephone has known Taz since childhood, and although their paths diverged briefly in young adulthood they grew back together. First as friends, then slowly as lovers. They have so many inside jokes together and know how to communicate in ways that most people would totally miss. Taz is utterly, hopelessly in love with Persephone and Persephone loves her back.
Baby. Baby child. Taz is one of the most affectionate moms in the history of mom-ing, despite her typical detached nature with almost everyone else. It can kind of get a little stifling at times, and she’s working on giving Kiran space. She’s also unsure what to do about the fact that her baby has become an auracorn guardian, but what can you do, right?
Although Taz randomly met Mel on the street, the two became friends very quickly as they both love art in some form or another. Mel loves spending time in the theatre and even has made friends with the ghost. Taz is a bit baffled on how Mel did that, but you know what whatever. Mel refuses to explain, and that’s okay. Taz doesn’t really want to know. Otherwise, they’re really good friends.
Taz adores Marilyn. She’s really supportive of her twin and has always wanted Marilyn to find her place. They may have had different life paths, but Taz has always been able to give her a place to stay whenever things got tough, and a place to find herself out. Marilyn in turn is known to spoil Taz with presents and friendship. They have so many inside jokes together.
Out of both of her moms, Taz likes Eddie just a little bit more. After all, he’s the one who was open to communication. However, his involvement with the government and his travels means that Taz doesn’t actually get to be around her favorite mom that much. She’s a bit resentful of that, actually. She doesn’t keep in contact.
Dear God, Taz wishes that Rosalind could just take a hint! Rosalind was always the pushy, overly strict, overly proper mother. There’s a reason Taz completely cut off all contact from her, even if Rosalind thinks of herself as a fine mother.
