I deserve the attention, not them!

Personality

Luci is overall a cheerful, excitable mothkitten. If there are friends to be made, Luci will make them. Or enemies. Luci is good at making those, too. They are very easily readable, wearing all of their emotions on their face and making it easy to figure out if they like you or not. Of course, they're usually happy.

However, they are also very self-centered. They love to have all the attention and the spotlight on them. They can and will go to lengths to keep it that way, too. Anything else and they get jealous and upset. They often go through tantrums because of this.

Story

Luci's birth origin is an absolute mystery. All that Luci really remembers is hatching from their cocoon. They didn't have any family, or if they did, they didn't seem to care. They simply moved on with what little of their life they have lived yet, leaving behind their cocoon and journeying into the forest that was not far off.

They were alone for some time, grumbling to themselves and making fusses. They eventually made it to a village where the proceeded to scream and whine for someone to notice them. For the most part, though, no one did. They would sometimes give them weird looks, or whisper among themselves about them and where their parents are. At one point, the village started to call them Lucifer, though they didn't know why. They liked it though. Then it was settled! Their name would be Lucifer!

The newly named Lucifer stuck around the village for a while in hopes to find themselves a home. No one seemed to care to want a lost mothkitten, though. At least, not until Lucifer met Shiver. Shiver seemed to be quite up in the clouds as she wandered the village. It was clear that the mothcat didn't live there, nor did she seem to know where she was going. This fascinated Lucifer. Something about her drew them in, and they followed in her shadow all day until Shiver finally noticed them.

Thankfully, the mothcat instantly took to the mothkitten. She was in love with their curly fur and big smile when they looked up at her. She didn't hesitate to scoop up Lucifer and take them back with her to her home, which they found out was a lot farther from the village than they initially thought. There, they met Shiver's wife, Nia, who was a little less keen about the idea of Shiver bringing home a strange mothkitten. But it hardly took Lucifer a week to get Nia to fall in love with them, too.

Finally, Lucifer, who was nicknamed Luci, had a home and a family. Sure, they weren't related by blood, but they didn't mind. They loved their mothers, and every day with them was a new adventure and a new, happy memory to add to Luci's scrapbook. And for a while, there was nothing new to add to their life. They had Shiver and Nia all to themselves, and even the village, which Luci had learned was Nia's home village, had begun to accept them. So when their mothers announced that they were going to become a big sibling, they were not at all pleased.

The entire time that the family waited for the cocoons to hatch, Luci would glare at them and plot how to get rid of them. Maybe they could take them into the forest and someone else could find them, like how Luci was alone when they hatched. They even tried this once, but even just one cocoon was too heavy for the mothkitten to pick up. And when Titania and Belladonna hatched from the cocoons, Luci's jealousy only got worse.

Since the birth of their little sisters, Luci devoted most of their time to sabotaging their lives and doing what they had to to get their mothers' attention. This included stuffing their sisters in a box, intentionally losing them on a walk in the forest, and many other things. They never worked though. They never noticed that their mothers never stopped giving them attention, but it was just the idea of having to share it with two other mothkittens that didn't sit well in their chest.

Luci is growing, though. And as they're slowly losing their kitten fur, they're beginning to lose their grudge a bit towards their sisters. They would never admit that though, but it could be seen in their lack of attempts at getting rid of them now. They still search for a way to gain all rights of attention in any way possible, but thankfully, their attention-seeking is beginning to direct more towards mothcats of their age rather than their mothers.

Shiver - Adoptive Mother

200x200

Only the best mother a mothkitten could ever have! Luci and Shiver get along like peanut butter and jelly, and they're forever thankful to have such a fun and loving mom. Luci can always go to Shiver and have a grand time playing games and spending time with her. And when they've exhausted themselves, they can go sleep it off, only to do it all over again the next day.

Shiver, while equally a mother to Luci, is also their best friend. They love to spend time with Shiver more than anyone else in the world, and it makes them incredibly close and mother and child.

Nia - Adoptive Mother

200x200

Still as loving as Shiver but definitely more 'mom', Luci loves to snuggle with Nia and often goes to her when they need help or to cry. Nia is certainly more accustomed to her role as Luci's mother than a friend, unlike Shiver, so she tends to understand Luci in ways that Shiver doesn't. Luci knows they can rely on Nia whenever they need comfort or advice.

Of course, being the only one to be a mother in the family also means Nia is the one that tends to set her foot down. Luci often gets in trouble by Nia's standards and therefore gets grounded by her more often than not. This makes Luci a bit less keen to tell Nia what they were up to, as they know Shiver won't ground them. But they still love Nia and wouldn't ask for a better mom.

belladonna - Adoptive Sister

200x200

Only the worse little sister that Luci could ever have! Belladonna is not only annoying, but she is always stealing their moms' attentions! Luci seems to have a lasting grudge against Belladonna for no other reason than the fact that she was born. There have been many attempts to get rid of Belladonna, from leaving her in the forest alone to packing her up in a box to ship away. She isn't even worth teasing like her sister is...

Yet, lately, there's been a bit of change in Luci's heart. No, they don't like Belladonna, and they don't think they ever really will. But Belladonna is getting older like they are and is clearly growing up, too. Luci doesn't want her to make mistakes. They've been seen watching her from a distance lately.

Titania - Adoptive Sister

200x200

The lesser of two evils, Luci still doesn't really like Titania, but at least she's not irritating to deal with like Belladonna is. Her crying can get annoying, though. Luci isn't afraid to admit that they would still ship Titania away with Belladonna if it meant they had their moms back, but they know they would only get in trouble. Instead, Luci uses Titania as easy bait for teasing. She's just so easy to break down.

As the girls are growing up, though, Luci is starting to see Titania in another light. They still hate her... but they also have a strong urge to protect her from other bullies.
