☀️Appearance ☀️

Cornelius is extremely farsighted and rarely wears his glasses because he always winds up misplacing them. So, he winds up missing most non-verbal queues in conversations.  

Resting bitch face that is made worse when he's without his glasses. 

Normally pulls hair back. Rarely wears loose. Only has his hair braided/styled if one of his family members is insistent on it

Small scar on his cheek

Clothes normally have at least a little paint on them. Since he doesn't really leave his house, Cornelius doesn't really see a point in avoiding getting paint on them. Who's going to judge him, his family?

✴️Personality✴️

Pretty much a recluse. Speaks to family members maybe 2-3 times a week. Avoids dealing with people outside of his family as he feels that he has spent enough of his life dealing with strangers and isn't particularly interested in future interactions. Rarely leaves the family property.

Has a firm opinion on everything and anything. He will argue about it and will keep arguing about it even if he realizes he is wrong. Rarely admits that he was wrong, but at least is willing to change his opinions. His opinion will just suddenly change the next time you talk to him and he will act like it has always been that way. 

Deeply cares about his family even if he isn't the best at showing it.

Cornelius I - Father - A man with an odd sort of charisma that had people adamantly hating his existence while he was present, but missed him as soon as he left. 

Aella - Mother - Remembers her as a brutally stoic woman who you'd only ever get glimpses of how she truly felt.

X - Cousin - His biggest regret in life is that he never took the time to ask the man much about himself. Cornelius isn't even completely sure that they were actually related.

Spends most of his time doing art or archery, or going on walks around the acreage that surrounds the family house. 

Claims that he hates doing art. He doesn't, he just likes to complain about it. His art typically focuses on very specific details of his memories; such as painting a woman in a dress where the dress is fully rendered, but the woman's face and background are just blocked in colour. Can do more realistic paintings, but only does them on rare occasions.

Hates horses (doesn't trust them) and dogs (almost a phobia)

He has a harder time speaking and understanding 'newer' languages and is too impatient to have someone translate things for him.
