Gladius is the legendary sword who was brought to life by a massive wave of magic. He is eponymously referred as "Sword Kid", hence his appearance of an anthropomorphic sword.
Personality
Gladius is a sword who is as brave as a hero would get. He fights his enemies for honour, yet he doesn't mind losing as long as he doesn't get destroyed.
On the other hand, however, Gladius is... rather playful for a legendary sword. He likes to skip around, often in circles, and tends to bump into people a lot. In addition, he and Adèle hold some sort of friendship together, which even confused Vetitum himself.
Gladius can't talk at all; he makes noises instead, such as "pii-ki".
Background
Gladius was crafted by the gods, and, with the power of the gods, was said to have the ability to seal away the GOD OF URD. When the GOD OF URD was sealed away, the sword was sent deep into the ocean, where it currently rests. However, its power seemed to have weakened overtime, therefore it was reduced to its current state.
Design Notes
- The blade on his head is retractable. If you don't want to draw him with the blade visible, you can draw him without it. The blade will only be visible during quests and fights.
- His "crown" isn't an accessory, but is part of his body. Same with the red string on his scabbard body.
- Gladius has no visible arms. The string on the scabbard acts more like a scarf he wears.
