Spriggan

A denizen of the now-ruined world, intense usage of ambrosia caused a number of mutations - most notably the split between her and her other half. Both are fairylike in proportions and have nature themed growth that sprung up on their bodies. Spriggan herself acts fierce to compensate for her small size and the fact she is sort of delicate. Unsuited for combat, she had sheltered in a forest that used to be on the surface, but it's gone now. The environmental controls being shut off ruined a lot of the natural flora, which she is sad about having been a hobbyist botanist before The End.

Spriggan's personality can be pretty abrasive, and even a bit bratty. She defaults to sarcasm but has a softer side towards those she respects and/or befriends.

Unusually, Spriggan is the only one of the Guardians that is of no renown. She befriended Locke and Yggdrasil before The End, and Locke invited her to take part in the "game".

When provided with a list of possible candidates for pawns, she selected Ash due to the description of her tenacity. She probably would not have chosen her if she had known Ash had people to take care of, and feels pretty guilty about this.
