Really he just has excellent skills of perception and is a quiet listener, unlikely to interject his own thoughts unless he feels strongly. This stoic attitude seems to be broken by nothing other than music, for which he is incredibly fond of. Techno in particular really gets him and he can't help but bounce in rhythm.
