Though they might fear you, commoners will extend you every courtesy and do their utmost to help you. Unless you have shown yourself to be a danger to them, they will even take up arms to fight alongside you, should you find yourself facing an enemy alone.

Devine Borne

As a descendant of a divine figure, Flynn possesses the ability to read and speak "Ancient/Celestial" language with proficiency. Additionally, his divine blood equips him with a special sense that allows him to detect the presence and location of any celestial, fiend, or undead within a 60-foot range, excluding those behind total cover. Though he can identify the type of being detected, its identity remains unknown to him.

Flynn's father, Alpha, is revered as the god of Smithing, Metal-Forging, and Stonework, which has instilled in Beta a passion and admiration for expert craftsmanship.

Lifestyle

Flynn resides in a humble fishing village secluded on the Crimson Tongue Coast, a consequence of his father's choice to abandon his duties. Although not luxurious, living there has instilled in Flynn a sense of community and has equipped him with valuable scavenging skills.

Traits

As a fighter, he displays compassion by defending those he deems worthy of mercy. Despite his conflicting tendency of distrust, once he identifies an ally, he wholeheartedly commits to their protection. Though not highly emotional, he strives to understand others, even if it is an area where he is not particularly skilled.

Ideals

As he ages, the curse becomes increasingly severe, causing him to become emotionally unstable and triggering his beastly transformation. He longs to find a place where he can safely express himself and gain a deeper spiritual understanding of the world. His ultimate goal is to find himself amidst these challenging circumstances.

Flaws

Flynn's many flaws include being two-faced, harsh, emotionally unavailable, and lacking in empathy. Despite these shortcomings, he earnestly strives to support his teammates through various means in order to foster a stronger connection amongst them.

Bonds

Aside from his drive for knowledge, the most important things in Quinn's life are his husband Brandr, and the legacy of Zvezda's Grand University. He would do most anything for the the sake of both, even if it had great consequence.

Ancient Tomes

Well, maybe not all of them Ancient, but a good handful at least. Quinn is always carrying around too many books. Some borrowed from Yveria's most esteemed libraries - he most certainly intends to return them. Eventually.

Quills & Ink

The contents of his bag are nearly always ink stained. He keeps meaning to work out some enchantment against it, but who has time for that? There are more pressing matters to be attending.

Journals & Scrolls

Hoarding all that ink has a purpose. It's rare to find a moment where Quinn isn't intently scrawling something into one of his various journals. You don't do that many magickal experiments if you don't intend to record your findings.

Pouches of Coins

The amount of Gold & Silver on his person at any given time is somewhat astounding -- but books and magickal reagents don't come cheap -- and neither does well tailored, enchanted clothing.

Star Charts

One would assume an actual map of Yveria would prove more useful. How Quinn can even decipher these is as much of a mystery as their purpose. Seems to be some kind of family secret.

Pack Goat

While more of a companion animal, this strange creature doesn't really do much other than carry Quinn's countless bags around and stare at you with an eerie sort of gaze.
