Itziar Antares Milagros del Solar Bénézet was meant for a future as grand as the name he was christened with. His bastard of a royal father desperately wanted it so, as the sole legitimate heir he managed to sire, Itziar was the only hope of the family name continuing in any official capacity. It was expected that he would be glued to his father's side and become his beneficiary in all things.

This was the farthest thing from the truth.

Itziar found far more in common with his beloved mother, a longsuffering woman with a gentle soul. It was towards her that he pointed his first steps, and it was her approval he worked towards. Even when his magic manifested, it was his mother's strain he took after. His father was incensed.

Although raised like a royal, Itziar attended his magical tutelage in Namaraste diligently, learning to strengthen and control his abilities while he forged alliances with other like-minded mages-in-training. He had no interest in hunting corrupted mages, planning on doing his duty to his country a different way.

When he emerged from his training at twenty, Itziar returned to his household to claim his inheritance early- a ridiculous sum of money had been set aside for him, enough that he could live independently, and start a marvelous business. But it would not be under the del Solar name.

Stripping himself of his father's title, and the responsibilities along with it, he emerged a new being: Itziar Milagros, wealthy mage and business magnate. With his new fortune he spirited his mother away into a far grander house and started an enviably successful ship-building company, one of the largest in Falline. He co-owns the lumber mill that produces wood for his ships with an old friend from his mage days, and always looks to the horizon with a keen eye.
