Kokyou (湖響) is a Czylph who has influence over a small area near a natural spring.
Appearance features to note:
- appears to be in his mid-20's
- his gem is in the shape of the marquise cut
- his hair has gradient coloring that goes from dark purple (top) to white (bottom)
- I don't have a preference, hairstyle-wise, as long as the length is the same
- blue eyeshadow/eyeliner
- this is pretty thin (see: references) so it shouldn't spread out too far beyond his eyelid
- the cape is symmetrical so it looks the same on the other side

Kokyou's name is made up of the kanji for "lake" and "echo". He has influence over a tiny piece of land (roughly an acre) that includes a natural spring inside of a forest. The spring is enclosed by some flat meadows, but after a few yards, it reverts to forest. Next to the bubbling spring is a small shrine that was put up in Kokyou's honor many, many years ago. People who live in the surrounding areas still come to leave offerings and pray at the shrine for a peaceful and plentiful year. Even though his homeland is small, he has enjoyed enduring devotion and influence over the course of his lifespan thus far, so Kokyou has a fair bit of power. Generally, he uses this power to keep his land healthy and natural resource-rich, as well as regulate the weather. He leaves his area from time to time to visit friends or explore, but he is very concerned with the upkeep of his land so he does not stay away long.
Despite the fact that his land and the surrounding towns have been peaceful for a long time, Kokyou himself is not quite so serene and nice. From a distance, he appears graceful and stoic. There's a certain elegance to the way he moves and carries himself that tends to draw the eye. However, he has a mischievous, childish streak that manifests when people actually talk to him. Kokyou's very amused by the antics of the creatures under his dominion and thinks very highly of himself, comfortable in his knowledge that he is above them. He is kind at his core, but haughty and doesn't like being told "no". He has an affinity for fish and loves talking to them and hearing about their days. He doesn't actually like deer, horses, and other similar animals too much because he thinks they have too much in common with him and thus "dull his shine".
